well its the only way to get a singer to fit the part of a child fish with out actualy getting a child. so it was writen for a female.

Not to mention the fact that they can't legally pull a kid out of school and make him work like 7 shows a day. Plus kids grow real fast. they'd have to constantly recast the character every month.

LOL, that's true - ask the producers of "Lost". ;) (Although, in reality, many performing kids never go to school...they get "tutored" for a few hours a day instead...it's pretty standard practice. Or they go to "professional childrens" schools which cater to the working tyke.)

Seriously, though, I like the female much better - I mean, do we really need another snot nosed brat at WDW? Won't we have enough of them in the audience?

:P

This looks really interesting. I'm anxious to see what the theatre looks like, the sets, costumes, effects, etc. I bet it will be quite the experience.

Stupid youtube. It said it was disabled by the user. Oh well, I'll be seeing it within the next week :sohappy:

I really hope a video doesn't show up...they obviously say no videotaping or picture taking in the show. Oh well. It's better in person anyhow....WAY BETTER!! If you're going to go see it soon, sit in the middle....don't sit in the front. A lot of stuff happens in the middle. When you're in the front, you have to turn your head around to see what's going on in back of you.

That's not going to stop the Disney park fan community at all. Mark my words, somebody is going to bend those rules and there are two sea shantees that will come instantly to my head when those videos come online, one of which you all know and the other one being this: http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=18812
