I'm looking to add to my music collection for my Live 365 station, and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for CDs to pick up. I'm especially interested in CDs from some of the regular live performers. I plan to get the newest one from Off Kilter. Maybe other stuff at Epcot or Animal Kingdom?
I'll be there Dec. 27-30 with my 10-month-old son (wish us luck!) Between babysitting while my wife chaperones her choir students and the crowds of that week, I should have plenty of time to browse.
Any advice is appreciated!
(Maybe "Wishes" will finally be out by then! If so I'll have it online by Jan 1!)
Thanks...

I just picked up the Haunted Mansion CD. I recommend that one if you don't have it already. That's not the movie soundtrack, but the ride soundtrack. There are clips from DL, WDW, TDL, and DLP.

That looks great! My wife would like that too, since she's been learning to play the carillon at our church.

Do you know if and where they're performing at WDW around Christmas?

Mo Rockin has their own cd out, now. I'm not sure how good it is, or how much you like them, but everytime i've heard them play, they've been very good!

it's too bad Disney doesn't have those personalized CD makers anymore...you could've gotten all kinds of great stuff with those!

Actually, i have some Disney music you may be interested in, if you want to PM me about it.

Just wanted to report back that I mail ordered the Cast in Bronze CD and had it in my mailbox 8 days later...not bad for the Christmas rush! It contains holiday standards on the carillon accompanied by guitar, keyboard and some vocals. Very good...I'll have a few samples on my station by Monday the 22nd. Thanks for that and all the other recommendations.

I leave for WDW in seven days...woo-HOO!

RadioAndy, I suggest the Walt Disney World 2003 Official Park Album, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Fantasmic!, Magic in the Streets, Illuminations, and Animal Kingdom CDs, they all have great music and are really good. And if Wishes comes out when you're there YOU MUST buy it!:D It will be the best CD of them all.

RadioAndy,

Cool to hear about the Cast in Bronze CD. I was blown away when I first hear them play years ago.

They are not playing at WDW this year, but they had been the past 5 years. Epcot went with a Character Show for the Tree Lighting Ceremony this year.

When I first learned that they were not going to be here last month. it felt like being sucker punched in the stomach. It became a part of my Christmas to see them play. But Frank and his family were not crushed, since he would be home for the holidays for the first time in awhile.

I had already emailed Disney requesting them to bring them back next year. Feel free to email: Michael.S.Korkis@disney.com and let him know you want Cast in Bronze in 2004

Hey Andy, so you are the person behind Radio365? Which station are you so I can be sure I am listening to the right one? If you are Florida Project Radio, I thank you for all of the joy and happiness you have brought me since I discovered the station with a bit of help from some of the wonderful people on these boards!!!
As far as Off Kilter, YES PLEASE!!!! I prefer the second CD ( etched in Stone is the name) as they seem to have more of the individual type of songs and some of the ones I prefer.
Thanks again and have a wonderful trip!!! Belle

Illuminations/Tapestry of Dreams soundtrack (EPCOT)

Virtually verbatim of the fireworks show - first two tracks, then exit song on track 4.

Nice touch on the way back to home/hotel after seeing the show! You can see the whole thing in your head all over again.

I've gotten so bad with it, I'm humming the melody right before the shells explode!...*people all looking at me:lookaroun :veryconfu *

Mine is Radio Buena Vista (link below). There are several good Disney stations at Live365.com.

Thanks for all the recommendations y'all. I'll take the list with me!

Hey Foolish, Isnt Live365 great?? Anyhow the Florida Project one I know doesnt play what you are looking for. I looked at Radio Andy's station ( see above for link) and the schedule shows that there might be some of what you are looking for, but I couldnt get it to play as the button was kinda washed out looking. Hopefully If I try later it will be available to me! Check it out though. Belle

Foolish...I have 4 or 5 songs that are played on Main Street. Actually, I KNOW they are played at Disneyland Paris' Main Street, and I assume they use the same at Disneyland & WDW. I also have the Very Merry Christmas Parade and some other holiday music from the parks.

Wannebe, I'm not sure what the problem is, unless you just happened to hit Live 365 while they were down...that shouldn't last long!

Thanks Andy. Did'nt hear any last time I checked your station out but now that I know to listen for 'em I'll make time where I can listen longer. Liked what I heard so far tho.

Belle: I'm so impressed and addicted I subscribed to get rid of the commercials. Score 1 for advertising. Hopefully paypal kicks in today.

And for those of you reading this who miss the old tips of the day form resort tv try the sorcerer1 station and listen carefully !!!!

Radio Buena Vista is great!

radioandy - I just wanted to let you know that I've been enjoying your station on live365 for about 6 months now - it was one of the first stations I added to my presets! Thanks so much for bringing the Disney magic to me as I work from home :-).

May I ask how you got some of the music - say, the entrance medley to Epcot for example?
