Need Warcraft III Help!!!

My son got Warcraft III for his birthday. It worked fine for about 48 hours, then it started to import nasty spyware (gator) which kept causing the computer to freeze. My neighbor was able to get everything out, and no permanent damage was done to the hard drive, but I'm afraid to let him go back gaming online. (which is apparently the whole reason for having the game)

I have a firewall,(zonealarm) AVG virus scan, run spybot, and run free surfer.

I hate to tell him that he can't play online anymore, but also don't want to wreck my computer!!!

Grisoft has been having a lot of recent update problems with AVG. The "computer geek" forums are awash with many complaints about AVG. So, I recommend you get rid of AVG and instead use Avast. Avast is free and it works much better than AVG and Norton.

Also, stick with ZoneAlarm because it too is better than the Norton firewall.
