Need Some Reassurance...

Okay, we are taking my mom to WDW in May (her first time & she is 63) It will be myself, DH, our 3 kids (7, 5, 2) and my mom. Originally we were booked to stay at POR in the Alligator Bayou section - but the more I thought about it, I realized how weird it would be for all of us to be sleeping in one room for a week (not to mention my mom snores. a LOT). So I just called & switched us to the All Star Music Family Suite.

Is it nice? I know it's not as nice as POR, and I have stayed at Pop before - is it atleast as nice as Pop? Has anyone stayed in the suite before?

I have stayed in the All Star Suites before and was very pleasantly surprised. From an accommodations stand point it will definitely be a step up from a single room at PORS. It is set up like a suite with a living room that converts into a bedroom, a mini kitchen, a master bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. The resort itself is of course not as nice as PORS but your improved sleeping arrangements will more than make up for it. You will not be disappointed.

I think you made the right decision. That extra bathroom alone will be a big help. Space is a big thing when you travel with a group.

I liked the AS suites when I stayed in them. It was 4 of us, all 20 somethings. The room gave us plenty of space and the 2nd bathroom was a good thing with 2 women in the room. I slept on both of the fold outs during the course of the stay. I found them both to be comfortable and I got plenty rest. I think you will like the extra space, 2 bathrooms and 2 TVs.

I also agree that you made the right choice. Everyone will be MUCH more comfortable with the extra space and the two bathrooms.

Very smart move on your part! Have fun!
