Need some help with DVC at WDW

I was on the phone with WDW Travel today and asked about specials. They said the only special right now is if you have a friend that has a DVC pin and would like to invite you to try a trip to WDW. Anyone with any information. We have a big family, five kids, and are trying to plan our first trip.

I am a DVC owner and have not heard about this PIN or discount.

The only thing that I've heard about is that friends and family of dvc owners can get special rates at SSR or OKW if they travel I think sometime in August or September.

The special offer was an email from DVC at the beginning of July that had a special rate of $164 per night plus tax for a Studio at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or Disney's Old Key West Resort.

I recieved a mailer about the $164.00 per night at OKW for a studio. That is the only special that I was aware of. I never heard of any special where a pin is required.
