Need Info On The Polynesian

Hi everyone. We have reservations at the Polynesian for our upcoming vacation. The problem is that on the internet, I keep seeing two different versions of the rooms. One is so-so and the other one is very nice. I would love to know if anyone knows why. Maybe someone who has stayed there recently could tell me. Thank you very much.

From what I have heard rooms prior to the recent renovation were so-so....rooms renovated (i.e. new coat of paint, furnishings etcetera) are wonderful. For a while it was advised to request a recently renovated room but I think the whole property was recently redone with the new pool. Ask the reservationist when you call if you need to add this request.
