Need immediant advice!!!!!!

Few things I need to know. 1, Are the parks really less crowded on fri sat and sun during the summer that the unoffical guide suggests, and when would be the best time to go if you couldn't be there before the 15th of June or after the 15th of August. Please, need info now, because I have an interview for a job tommorrow and have to tell them when I'm going. And, is listen to the land also as crowded as the book suggests, I really can't see how that's possible. Oh, if I go on a weekend, does that mean that COP and timekeeper will be down? And if anyone can give me an updated ride renovation date list that would also be helpful, couldn't seem to find one anywhere.

We go the 2nd week of June, and have the last 2 years, and will again this year.

We've also been in July and August. If you have the option of going BEFORE June 15, go then! That 2nd week of June was pretty light in attendance, compared to July and August, which are just miserable.

Yes, believe what the Unofficial Guide says - it's my Bible when I go, and it's DEAD ON!

The Land boat ride is usually pretty crowded except very early in the morning, just like the book says. People don't go to EPCOT for "thrills", well, many don't. Most go because its an educational and entertaingin experience...and Living with the land is just that.

Seems as if every time I've been that Monday was a pretty slow day. However it usually depends on what park you are going to. Different parks are busier on different days.

Thanks for the helps people. I now found out I can go after august 15 which is a good thing, so from the 19th to the 23rd we'll be hittin the parks. I would have tried to even go a little later, but my sister starts school on wed sept 1st, So I be pushin it trying to be at the parks the weekend before. It would be a different too if we weren't driving there from milwaukee. So thanks again, especially to the cutey from NC.

Pack your rain poncho! When we were there in August, it rained every afternoon. Usually lasting for just an hour or so, but sometimes longer.

Summer is not as busy as holidays, but it IS busy because all the kids are off school.

Check out the link I posted above to see the best days for Magic Kingdom, I think they are Friday and Saturday.

My advice on Living with the Land is to go during the evening, when everyone is drifting towards World Showcase and getting a spot for Illuminations. Lines are pretty small, especially as you get closer to 9:00.

If you plan to watch Illuminations, however, you might try LWTL first thing in the morning, or plan to get a Fast Pass and come back later.

As for ride rehab schedules, Disney has it on their site, but like everything else, they make it pretty hard to find :brick: but it's located here: This page

Deb Wills also has one on her site, at

This page

There may also be a schedule here at WDWMagic, but there's so much info here I haven't found it yet!

So is the Land not considered part of future world, which closes at 7?? I always thought everything on that half of the park closed at 7.

Although I guess that doesn't really make sense now that I think of it, because why would they want to close Test Track and Mission Space at 7? Is it just the Innoventions buildings that close early?

If you could go from the 11th to the 15th you'd be better off, because apparently weekends during the summer are less crowded because vacationers use them to travel and locals stay home. It's still better than july or august, unless you go after the 15th of Aug. Like Laura said, friday and saturday for MK. I got all this info from the unofficial guide to Walt disney world, and highly suggest it. Now that I've read this one, I'll never again plan a trip without the current copy. Also incase you want to know, here's a list of other best days for the parks:
Epcot- Sat and Sun
MGM- Mon and Fri
AK- Tues, Thurs, or Sat
And thanks again you guys for the help in my time of need.

Futureworld closes at 7 but they usually leave the more popular attractions open until 9. In the past test track, mission space, imagination, and spaceship earth have stayed open so most likely the land will close at 7 with the rest of futureworld.

Summers here in central Florida can be pretty wet. You can pretty muc set your watch to when it rains. Almost 5:00? better get inside!

Four years ago we were in a drought so it was a very dry summer and it didn't rain much. But there were wildfires everywhere. One even hit the median on I-4 about 20 miles or so south of Disney. It really screwed up travel around that area for awhile until the fire was under control. But the rest of the summer the smoke smell was awful when you drove thru that area.

Last summer was too wet for my liking. I swear I saw more clouds/rain than sun over those 3 months. I'll actually take a dry summer over all that rain (even though we can use it). Hoping this summer won't be *too* wet.
