need help!please help!!!!

hey! as a newcomer to this site, i have seen so many avatars that i want. but, i just dont get how to get a new avatar. please let me know what i could do to get a new one. thanks alot.

The 8th item down is about getting a picture with your name

There are several 'stock' avatars you can use. You can also use your own. The requirements are less then 160 by 160 and less then 19k in size.

you need to find a picture of what you like make sure you copy it as a gif file and if it needs resizing i am sure someone will be happy to do it if you want to use someone elses avatar please ask if its ok we use different ones so we dont mix each others posts up

Tigger is right about asking permission - good catch. In the digital section, that are several people who can/will help you design one if needed.

1 slight correction, it does not need to be in GIF format, mine are in JPG format. GIF is required if you want an animated one.

first save the avatar in a folder and with a gif. file then go to user cp then edit options to change avatar then hit browse find the file folder its in and press submit it should change it

First - you need to save the avatar to your hard driveor know it's web location.


Upper right of your screen is USER CP. Click on it.

Select EDIT OPTIONS

Scroll down to CHANGE AVITAR

Scroll down to BROWSE and find the location of the avatar on your hard drive (or web location).

SUBMIT MODIFICATIONS

It's that easy.

Ok, I had a lot of trouble on this part when I first came to the site. There are people on the site, who will make avatars for you if you ask nicely.

!. Right click on image.
2. Save image as
3. Save it to a folder. make JPG, or GIF
4. Go to CP
5. Go to avatar, browse, click on image.
6. Submit.

I probally left out a lot of details though. Good Luck!
