Background: Myself (34) and DH (34), Florida residents living 20 minutes away. Since we need a scooter and don't have one, we enjoy the trip more by staying on-site. And let's face, it's just more fun staying on site. There's no transit cost (barely) so that's a win for us.
Booked a package for 3 nights in mid December to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary.
3 nights at Beach Club
1 day park pass
counter service meal plan
will make a dining reservation for Le Cellier for us anniversary dinner (will pay out of pocket)
Planning on buying 2 tickets to MVMCP
Also have 2 birthday tickets we got by showing up on our respective birthdays (well, I will in a few weeks).
Currently have Epcot after 4 passes that expire in August. (deciding on whether to renew these or get annual passes) Can I use my birthday ticket to renew an existing pass?
NOW - I didn't think I could, but is there a better way I can make the best use of what we have? We can't combine the 1 day package pass AND the birthday tickets to upgrade to annual passes?
If I cancel the reservation and book just the 3 nights and buy annual passes, can I add the dining plan in? Then I still have to spend the extra $120 on MVMCP (which we really want to do again this year - I got sick there last year and didn't really get to enjoy it)
We also rent 1 scooter from buena vista rentals - does anyone know someone with better prices? I paid $45 a day a few days ago.
I've paid off 3/4 of my trip already - socking away $10 - $20 a week or so has been working quite well, without feeling any financial pinch. I started saving Jan 1, 2009. Our trip is Dec 15 - 18, 2009
Thank you!!!
