I would like to know WHAT do you use to record your day at a park? Do you use your cell phone, use a hand held camera, or ????
I have a hand held video camera that uses SD cards, but not sure if I want to buy SD cards. I have an extra cell phone to use for filming and then transfer to computer or memory stick???? Advice needed!

I use my cell phone, these days, and only do short takes. I’ve found those to be more than sufficient.
I used to have video cameras (tape) back in the day, and would fill up 2 hours worth. We would never have enough time to watch all the video I took back then…!!!!! 🤪:hilarious:
Mostly, I just take cell phone pics now…!!! :)

Thanks for your suggestion. I will most likely use the extra cell phone to record then transfer to a memory stick or to desk top computer.
I know I want to record BOO! to You parade(s)...from different vantage points if there are 2 parades!!??

I use a cell phone. We had several expensive recording devices over the years and it’s just so much easier to take video clips with our phones and then edit them when we get home. I don’t even take our big, multi lens camera now. Phone works great for stills and video.

Cell phone. Its not bulky, easy to use, easy to edit or delete, and the videos come out just as good as using the cameras we used to lug around. You still do see some folks hauling those big ones around so they are still in use. .

iPhone 15 Pro and Canon ELPH 130s.
The later requires an SD Card and isn't 4K like my iPhone, and also has a wrist strap (not a mount) so I can film on most (not all) Roller Coasters. May try to get a wrist mount for my phone one of these days until I get a GoPro.

The former I use iCloud (1TB storage) and Google Photos.

I know this is stupid, but since it’s a different phone, just make sure you bring the charging cord for it…nothing worse than getting there only to find out you took the phone but not the cord…

YES! I already thought of that...I have a pleather of charging cords! I also thought about ordering a FEW Power Juice chargers to use when power gets low during filming!
