I need some advice looking for a new digital camera. I currently have a 4-year old Sony. It has served me well, but it is really obsolete. How are Kodak digital cameras? I was looking at a couple of models (the M340 and M380) and they seem to have a lot of the features that I want. Anyone know anything about these? What other types of digital cameras would you recommend. I am looking for something that is at least 8 megapixles, with image stabilization, and a high ISO for good low-light shots (and preferably with a reasonable priced). Any help would be great.

I have an Olympus SP-570UZ.

10MP 20x Optical zoom and image stabilization.

I really like it, but am still learning all the functions.

I guess my biggest question is what is your intended usage? What do you want to take pictures of? IS this just for WDW? Or just anything and everything?

The only time I really ever take pictures is when I am on vacation, whether at Disney or somewhere else.

Okay, thats a good starting point.

You're probably going to want to look and compare the Canon Powershot series and Nikon's Coolpix although theres this new Olympus model that boasts itself to be shockproof and waterproof, more along the vacation goers way.

You can compare features at http://DPreview.com

Once you're done that and you've made a decision, go to a local camera store (or best buy, or some other evil electronics store) and play with and see if it really is what you want.

And get at least a 2 gig or a 4 gig card.

I Need Some Help as Well

I am currently looking for a point and shoot digital. To take pictures mostly at the World but also in other conditons. Not as much. 85% just at WDW. I am looking for something with at least 10 MP and pretty decent zoom and Image Stabilization. I have looked at the Nikon Coolpix S600 and S610. Can't tell much of a differnce in the two. Any other input/suggestions to look at as well.
