This was a really good idea. I think I'm going to do it. Except I have a rather different movie in mind. About a kid my age who is pretending to be sick to catch a day off of school.

If you want to cry, watch "The Crimson Wing." The first movie that made me cry since "Terms of Endearment." Geez, it was sad. Visually stunning, but makes you blubber like a 2yo.
One time I had the flu and didn't want to get up to change the channel, so when "That Darned Cat" came on, I watched the entire thing. It's very rare to hear a reference to that movie, even in the Disney community, but when I hear one, I'm glad I subjected myself to it.

Thanks. I can't believe I'm not better either! I've been coughing all week, my nose is sore from blowing it so much, my asthma is flaring up with the cough, and my body aches terribly. I was supposed to visit my top choice college (since of course now that we're getting down to the wire here my father says, "Oh, I should go see that college you liked...") near me tomorrow, but I feel so bad that I had to call and tell them I can't come. I'm on prescription cough medicine, and at night I have to take the stuff with the codeine to knock me out. No worries, I bought this nice pillow when I was in Disney in January to snuggle with...OMG! I can't believe your not better yet
and I have a friend keeping me company...
And thank goodness that my mother makes soup and freezes it for later. Speaking of my mother, she's sick too now, so my house is full of coughing. At least she gets to stay home since she's a stay-at-home mom/substitute teacher when she feels like it, whereas I have to go to school.
No where to go this weekend, am hoping I'll be better on Monday. Yes I went to the doctor. It went up into my ears, so he put me on an antibiotic, but other than that, it has to run its course. It took ten pills plus cough syrup to get to school today...
