Near End of January is Crazy Busy?

I don't think so. I would rather fly in to Orlando, spend time at Disney then drive down only 3.5 hours to Miami for the Super Bowl then come back and spend more time at Disney. You get to eat your cake . . . and it's alot cheaper too in terms of hotels and rental rates.

That may be true but I am sure that the small number of people who might do that has no affect what so ever on room occupancy and crowds in the parks.

If you look at travel data in Florida, travel is typically lowest in September and January. I think January is a good time. As some have mentioned, I believe the cheerleading thing takes place around that time and they tend to take the cheaper hotels.

10 years ago, December and January was the time to go for lower crowds along with more pleasant weather.

Now word has gotten around and those times of year are busier, while summer months are more manageable than they used to be.

If you Re willing to stay off property, you could save money. A friend of mine likes Black Lake Resort on 192. Says it isgood with excellent staff and even better prices. Just a suggestion😊

I wouldn't say that about summer. It's still packed but the heat makes everything feel much worse.
