Bama just scored a TD. 25-21 Alabama.

Felt bad for Georgia. That's a tough way to go out so close and yet.. So far from the end zone. It will be an interesting game with ND. I think it comes down to whether ND's defense can stick with Alabama's o-line for the entire game. I think that definitely what did Georgia in... Just couldn't stop the run for multiple sets and that's what allowed Alabama back in the game. I think ND's defense is certainly capable but not a given.

On Wisconsin! Third straight Rose Bowl! I was actually surprised we won, let alone score 70 points. Let's hope the Badgers can finally win one. But hey, third time's a charm!

My dad was a Badger and I would like to see them win. If they could put on the performance they had last night (which was stunning... I actually started feeling bad for the Huskers an that never happens, lol), I think they have a shot. But they are definitely going to have to be at their best for Stanford.

Kent State can only knock Louisville out. This year, unless they move up to #12(aint gunna happen) they could only replace a Champion of a conference.

Kent State is currently ranked 17 and UCLA 16. With UCLA losing last night to Stanford, it s seems possible for Kent to move up to 16 (and be eligible to replace Louisville as stated in #2 above).
My guess would be the AP poll will move either Michigan, Texas, or Oklahoma State past Kent State keeping them below #16 and thus avoiding an unappealing Orange Bowl.

Looks like I was wrong!!! I thought "B" meant they would replace the Conference Champion. And it was N Illinois, not Kent State.

Clemson and Oklahoma got ripped!!

My fav one's are the Beef O' Brady Bowl and the Mienieke(?) Car Care Bowl... So lovely

Also, I'd agree with most everyone. Fiesta is the only one of the BCS Bowls I'm really wanting to watch besides the NCG. Though I'll probably watch the Rose Bowl too to support the Badgers when they get creamed by Stanford.

USC was supposed to be contending for a national championship, instead they are playing a 6-7 Georgia Tech. Who would have seen that? Not Silas.

Barry Alvarez will coach Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. At least Barry can win a Rose Bowl unlike Bret Bielema. Hated Bielema as a coach. He didn't know how to manage a game, and he doesn't know how to coach. Glad he's out of Wisconsin. I just wish Paul Chryst would come back, but he says he's committed to Pitt. I'm excited about the future of Wisconsin football, though.

Predictions anyone? Bowls are about to start in earnest now!! Who do you follow or which bowl intrigues?

The only bowl that really intrigues me is the one that Wisconsin is in. Then again I really only follow Wisconsin, and not any other college team. Not sure what we'll be like under Barry Alvarez, but hoping for the best!
