Any NBA fans here? The playoffs start tonight! New Jersey and Boston have already won, the Spurs ( :fork: ) are about to finish off the Grizzlies, and the Lakers and Rockets are just minutes away from tip-off. Here's my predections:

Eastern Conference
#1-Indiana vs. #8-Boston: Indiana
#2-New Jersey vs. #7-New York: New Jersey
#3-Detroit vs. #6-Milwaukee: Detroit
#4-Miami vs. #5-New Orleans: Miami

Semi-finals:
Indiana over Miami
Detroit over New Jersey

Conference Finals:
Detroit over Indiana

Western Conference
#1-Minnesota vs. #8-Denver: Minnesota
#2-L.A. Lakers vs. #7-Houston: L.A. Lakers
#3-San Antonio vs. #6-Memphis: San Antonio (sadly)
#4-Sacramento vs. #5-Dallas: Dallas

Semi-finals:
L.A. Lakers over San Antonio ( :sohappy: )
Minnesota over Dallas

Conference Finals:
L.A. Lakers over Minnesota

NBA Finals: L.A. Lakers over Detroit in 6

That's right, L.A. is my favorite team along with my pick to win it all. I'm glad how my hometown team, the Heat (well....not hometown...actually an hour away....) has done this season, but I don't think they've got the power to get past Eastern Conference powerhouse Indiana. I'll actually be at the Heat's Game 2 playoff game against New Orleans on Wednesday.

Your predictions? :D

Woohoo Laker fans in the house!!! :) I'm predicting either Lakers taking it all (though I am worried that some major laker players are injured) or the Kings taking the championship. They're too good of team and will be a hard team to beat. :king:

I want the lakers to win it all!!!!

The Eastern conference playoffs are of zero interest to me(at least until the conference finals once all the deadweight has been jettisoned).

The West is a lot more interesting, although I think Minnesota and San Antonio should roll through Round 1. The other two series look better on paper. Lakers-Spurs should be a great 2nd-round matchup. I think the Lakers have what it takes to win another one, but win or lose, they're always fun to watch in the playoffs.

Always loyal here... Magic and Bucs are my teams.

I don't get really vocal until they start doing good, but I never turn on my teams.

I totally agree with you NemoRocks. My brackets look the same!

I'm not a lakers fan, but think they will win it.
My team isn't in the playoffs.......(sadly).

Out of the teams that are in the playoffs, I like Miami, Dallas, and the Bucks.

Ah, this Lakers-Rockets game has been close the entire game. It's 58-55, in favor of the Lakers, right now with 9:00 remaining on the clock. This has been a low-scoring game though. I'm just hoping the Lakers can pull through! :D

72-71: Lakers win! Wow, that was such a close game. I'm glad that Jimmy Jackson missed that last-second shot, though I thought it was going right in!

I can tell that this is going to be a long series.....

Yeah, we're up 1-0, but keep playing like this and we won't make it out of the first round. They shot under 33%--32.9--and we don't even have to talk about Shaq's FT shooting.

That is what I call a pimple moment lol
It was a good game even though Lakers barely won. This series will be closer then I thought.
