NBA Experience at Disney Springs

Big City Elite? LOL OMG!
It's not an outlet Mall at all...it is however built on the model of a "Lifestlye Center" which combines shopping dining and entertainment...
My biggest beef is that they have chosen rather pedestrian shops that can be found most places... It is not as unique as it should be...

Most "normal" malls do not have what Disney Springs offers. You're on a roll today with the lies 😂

Accusing others of lying is rich when you are changing the words used. Disney Springs is a lifestyle center. A lifestyle center is not a normal mall. It being the best does not change that it is a lifestyle center. The concept of Disney Springs was even developed by Elkus-Manfredi.

No words were taken out of context. Perhaps you should stop lecturing everyone on the difference between theme and decoration and learn to read. Disney Springs isn't a flop mall, no matter how much haters like you try to say.

Where did I say it was a flop? Where have I said NBA Experience will flop? You used a different term as a straw man. Disney Springs is a lifestyle center.

Not personally interested in NBA Experience.

I really like Disney Springs, the ambiance, entertainment and dining are very nice. Being a foreigner, I find it convenient to have different shopping options. I specially like all Disney related stores and Uniqlo.

no one said it is a flop... I said they were going to have trouble keeping the stores tenanted... not the same thing.
and yes they have had several stores close since the opening already... I am sure rents are very high...and when the stores are available in many cities across the country, it makes it less special... and WOW! lighten up on the aggression and name calling... I did not refer to you as a Disney Apologist or a Foamer... don't call me a hater. Life ain't that simple or black and white...

I mean, it's been open for three years in it's current iteration. Were you at expecting there to be no turnover? That would be impossible for a retail development of this size.

We've heard here from people in the know that Disney considers this development to be a hit.. that they are very pleased with vacancy rates, attendance, etc. They have a pretty nice mix of stores and nice restaurants, not to mention live entertainment.

I struggle to see how anyone could not see this as a massive improvement to the previous iteration of Downtown Disney (adventurer's club notwithstanding)

Most of the stores that have closed have been due to the Entire Chain of stores closing and not just the Disney Springs Location.

Reviews of the NBA Experience are starting to trickle in and as expected they are not good unless you are a major NBA fan.

Yeah, now that it's soft-open and people are actually seeing what it's about, we can judge it all we want to.

I was only defending the idea previously as I wanted to ensure we don't pre-judge something which could be really good, though it sounds like....it isn't :bored:
