A good race today, but a bogus caution call late in the race almost blew it for Kahne. Thought Gordon was going to win until Kenseth wrecked with 4 to go. The race to the chase is going to be fun.

Yep. I think Kahne, Harvick, and Kyle could have a chance to beat JJ if he falters. Ford teams are having a lot of trouble.
problem is all of those 3 are either winning fast or wrecking.Just don't see the consistency to challenge and the two consistent drivers aren't winning.88/15.

Hendrick cars did not qualify we'll today. 48 starts 18th and the 24 is 28th!

Bowyer qualified well. A win for him tomorrow and maybe he's the guy to step up and challenge JJ?

Sundays Farce Race .. Discuss
It made me sick. It was bad when the 15 spins out to cause the caution, but then the actions of Ty Norris, cc for the 55 car, Made it much worse.

Glad to see NASCAR act. Treux out of the chase and Newman is in. $300,000 fine for MWR. 50 point deductions (pre chase) for all MWR cars.

#48 Jimmy Johnson wins 6th NASCAR Sprint car championship

Not sure if you saw the entire race on TV yesterday; but at one point, they showed a clip about Jimmy's off-track training. He runs, bikes, and swims, and competed in some sort of athletic event that included all three.

So, he's quite a remarkable driver, as well as athlete. (Of course, I felt guilty watching his training regimen while I sat there on the sofa wolfing down Cheez-its and chocolate chip cookies, with a glass of milk . . . oh well . . .) His hard work and dedication are inspiring. Congratulations to him for his 6th championship.

I like how he is a family man and had his little girl with him during the championship interview and trophy ceremony. :)
