My wife and I watched 'Dawntreader' last night and the 1st thing I noticed was that Disney didn't do this one. Can anyone tell me why they didn't? It seemed to me like this was the live-action movie series that was helping Disney in the theaters. As far as the movie goes, it was good (not as good as the 1st two) but, you could tell it wasn't Disney.

Nothing more complicated than they were under performing in the eyes of Disney and they elected to cut bait and run before they began to loose money.

I didn't get the impression that Disney had much to do with the first two, other than distribution and/or footing part of the bill; can anyone speak (write) to that?
