Nap time

All my life we went in the summer and I think having to deal with the Florida sun at its worst has led me to be a big supporter of mid-day room naps. I honestly can't do the parks from opening to closing. Every time we tried to go without a break it ended in everyone pretty much hating each other.

If you are going to nap: Go big and go home... well not home, just your hotel room. Nothing is like the freezing hotel a/c to help give you a mid-day recharge.

Exactly!!!! (Although I don't sleep on the plane, hard to sleep when I'm white knuckling it all the way to Orlando )
Ever since I was a baby, (my mother says as a baby I was a dream to travel with) get me in a car, bus, plane, doesn't matter. If I'm not driving and no one is in conversation with me, I'll drop off to sleep. Fortunately I haven't had a bad experience flying to cause me to have "white knuckles", but I do say a prayer before boarding and leave it up to the pilots, trusting them to get me there.

Without a doubt Hall of Presidents and American Adventure, I don't even go into those thinking about napping it just happens! I wouldnt sleep in CoF because I'm too interested in watching it

I don't know how you nap through any of these attractions they're quite noisy. If I was that sleepy I that I could nap through all that noise I'd go back to my resort. But sidenote splash mountain would be an interesting nap

I fell asleep during The American Adventure. I was too comfy after being out in the heat and had a bit of a buzz from sampling the "culture" of the different countries.
I was surprised there were not more of these types of "drinking around the world" stories...;)

Oh I nap EVERYWHERE! I don't know whether it's the fresh air, all the walking, early starts or what, but every time I sit down I'm off.

I nodded off on Tower of Terror, my daughter woke me just before the drop sequence started in case I had a heart attack. I slept through Maelstrom once, when we got to the end I wondered why we missed the backwards section. The bus journeys are lethal, late one evening on the ride back to the hotel I woke with my head resting on a lady's skirt. She didn't look very happy.

The shows are the best, I've even slept through Lights Motors Action.

I don't go in planning to nap, but I have never made it through the entire American Adventure. Feel free to fill me in on what happens after the five minute mark.

Holy Crap, falling asleep and then going through the TOT drop sequence. That would be like that dream where you are falling and don't stop, except it would be really happening. Too funny.

The only time I've fallen asleep at an attraction was in the Hall of Presidents. I WANTED to stay awake because I do like the attraction, but it just wasn't going to happen....it had been a long day

I only nap at the hotel, I can't sleep in public, I'm always worried someone will rob me! Paranoid I know.
Just remembered my wife and I napped in the lobby of port Orleans when we arrived for our honeymoon. We were exhausted and waiting for our room!

Exactly the same for me. HoP and AA are my key napping spots if I need a recharge - I drop off within seconds. I was stuck on CoP in the same scene 3 times and still stayed awake.

I know it's going to sound crazy, but Reflections of China always makes me start falling asleep. Yeah- I know- standing! Most times it's HoP and AA that are good sleepy spots for me.

Never napped in the park (well not for more than a few seconds anyway) but The American Adventure always seems like the best place to do it!
