Nantucket Harbour House?

On the map you show, the Nantucket Harbor House looks like it might be in the position across from CHH where there is now the little shop near the gates of HM that sells/did sell Smuckers products (Yankee Trader, I think is what it's called)

And the "Nantucket Harbour House" number 39 , and the Mike Fink Keelboats launch-number 41

If you look across the walkway from the Mike Fink Keelboats you see a little building that is green with a red roof. That is the building with the smuckers products and housewares now. #39 is definately the CHH bldg, but the map show a walkway between CHH and HoP. This is impossible because the MK opened with Peter Pan's Flight and The Mickey Mouse Review. The building that housed these 2 shows covers alot of that area. I would like to know what the key says #'s 45 & 46 are. They are show as very small bldg's where PPF and MMR as supposed to be.

The Keelboats did indeed depart from the dock below the Haunted Mansion. The area is actually still there today - you can still see it quite easily from Frontierland. Worst ride ever - especially if you are claustrophobic!

I only rode the Keelboats once (circa 1986) and it must not have been that great of a ride because I only have vague memories of it.

I only got to ride the Keel boats a few times as a kid but I remember loving them. I am disappointed that I never got to do the canoes that went around Tom Sawyer's Island.

P.S. Does anyone remember the mask shop near HM?

Hi guys----I haven't forgotten about you!
I had some major virus problems on my computer, and I'm still re-installing everything (I had to format the entire computer) so as soon as I'm back up and running I'll get those pictures to you.

I took pics of every corner of the map and of the "legend" at the bottom.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I've seriously learned so much just by looking at the map and doing research spawned from questions that have arose.

For example, I had no idea that the partners statue was so new! I sort of assumed it had been there since day one.
And while I knew that Space Mtn, Splash and BTMRR were all built after park opening, I guess I never really sat and looked at the map without the "triple mountain whammy"----the place must have been empty without them!

Anyway, pictures should be up by tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for your patients!
