does anyone know the name of the Norway pavilion bakery pastry looks like a yule log but its vanilla cake with custard and rolled in something? i had it on Norway constitution day at Epcot and fell in love with it and would love to know for my next trip :)

I think you are talking about the Kringla!? I have seen them in other bakeries called a Horn.

I haven't tried one but I know I would like it! No question!

Ooops!!! That is so funny! I must have read the signs wrong! I knew in Philly they were horns but just thought kringle was a "fancy" word for it!!! :ROFLOL:

Or perhaps it was school bread?

The "cake" part of school bread is more cakey (or more like a doughnut) than the horns are.

The school bread is also filled with custard (or pastry cream) as opposed to the horns which are more of a whipped cream.

School bread is "rolled" (or coated) in toasted coconut.
