Mystery Fun House?

Right now, nothing is in the building except for a Tourist Information Center (was always there). As far as I know, everything inside of the building is still intact, so it can be opened up quick if someone bought it, but nothing is moving in their now. I enjoyed that place when they were charging admission for $2 a person instead of the normal, what was it? $15???

A few days ago, I rode by the Mystery Fun house building, and I guess since it's not open, its falling apart. The main "tower" on the facade is caving in...I guess if someone buys the building, the'll need to redo that too.

Whoa old thread here, I was just thinking if there was a thread about the Mystery Fun House, so I searched. Anyway what is the actuall fun house area being used as now. It would probably be interesting to go through it now to see what its like inside.

There is nothing in the maze section, it is most likely how they left it. You can see the golf course is as it was with no changes still.

I want to try to make a small site about it.
I remember going so many times during summer vacation in 1976/77
and a couple times in the 90's with my own family and friends.

It opened in 1976 and closed in 2001. The building is still there. The funhouse is still inside. i have some pictures I tracked down online with what it looks like now, pretty bad but would love to have pictures of when it was opened.

I have some of the place when it was open on my website. If you want to use some of those, feel free to, only make sure you put some obvious links up to my website saying that you got the pictures from there.
For the pictures that are from the inside of the building after it closed down, I didn't take those pictures, so I can't give you permission to use those.
