the first one? or do you have the newer version that's in real time 3D?

I loved that game BTW, and there are two sequels when you finally beat that one.

Yeah, I have it. I haven't played it for about 3 or 4 yrs though. It drove me crazy, some nites I didn't even go to bed, because I was up trying to find things. Good Luck!

I actually beat Myst...took a while...but I did it :)
(and the RIGHT way ;) )

(talking about the red and blue books by the way)

Have you figured out which one to complete???

 (laughs innocently to people who have completed the game)

But...moonchild...very good game...I like games like that (also like 7th Guest and 11th Hour (although those are just WAY too difficult sometimes) Those games were fun except you got frustrated and "stuck" a lot...and needed to walk away and come back with a fresh mind.

Speaking of Myst...was I dreaming or did I hear of a rumor somewhere that they wanted to turn Discovery Island into Myst Island with an "all-new Disney experience"

I have the Trilogy and I think it's the new version. Freak, I saw the red & blue books, the ones with the fuzzy message? I have no clue what they mean  got as far as surfacing the ship, and entering the space ship-rocket thingy. I have the notes, but I was so tired last night I had to go to bed. I have a feeling I will be up late many a night :veryconfu

OHHHHHHH...you've only just begun your mission :)

Well, if you need any "hints" feel free to ask...I'll try to remember :) You lifted the ship though...so you understand how the game works at least :)

Myst is a great game. I actually solved the first one all by myself when it came out. I was single then however and had lots of time on my hands. Riven, the second one, I used the hint book when I got stuck. I had no time to play around with it. I love the graphics and themeing of these games. I haven't had a chance to look at the third one yet. With a 2 year old I don't have much play time. Good luck you've just hit the tip of the iceberg.

Hahaha...I just looked up from my computer desk and saw that I still had the Myst CD tucked away in a cubby. I only beat the first game. I played the second one but lost interest after many late nights of getting nowhere fast.

I love the 7th Guest and 11th Hour. Beat both and wish there would be another one. Excellent thinking games and late at night they could really freak you out! :lookaroun

HAVE FUN! :)
