The main fix for the queue is adding friends on the other side.
Once guests board the boats we make a right turn through the bayou where there are 2 small frog animatronics that are bouncing up and down on lily pads and go up a lift hill. The boats enter into the bayou where there are large trees that have 3 small bird animatronics in them chirping with each other, we wind through the bayou as the boats pass by the water tower. The boats enter into the old warehouse that has been overgrown with moss as guests can get a good view of the main drop, as the boats go up the lift hill where a Tiana animatronic says hi to guests as she begins to tell the story of her life but is interrupted by the Friends on the Other Side as the boats exit the warehouse.
The boats wind through a farm area where there are 2 birds in a tree picking for apples, an alligator eating some potatoes, and a rabbit that is farming carrots. The boats pass by several other fruits and vegetables as we pass under a tree with 2 birds having a cup of coffee, after the boats take a turn to the right which gives you a good view of the surrounding area we go down a drop into the first show scene.
The boats enter into the bayou where there is a screen to the right and left which shows fireflies dancing to the beat of the music, there are 2 alligators that are playing the trumpet, a turtle that are playing the drums, a frog that is playing a harmonica, and a woodpecker pecking the tree to the beat. As we go past the band there is a full size Louie greeting guests to the bayou, there are fireflies flying behind them as we are going through the bayou. Going past Louis is a band that consists of 2 beavers, 2 raccoons, a bunny, and a turtle that are playing various instruments as we approach a Tiana animatronic which is telling us about how she met these creatures when she was a frog. The bayou is now glowing with fireflies as they cover the flora and fauna, there is a pack of frogs that are playing banjos and harmonicas, on the entire right wall are projection effects of fireflies dancing through the bayou. The boats approach Tiana, singing, Louis playing the trumpet, and 2 bunnies playing the flute. The boats approach a family of bear that are playing the trumpet as we enter the next scene where we enter a part of the bayou that is littered with shipwrecks that has been taken over by the bayou, we see Louis playing his trumpet on top of a half sunken riverboat. After the boats go past a pair of raccoons playing instruments on top of a crows nest, we see Tiana trying to get Louis out of a log where she tells us to continue without her as she is helping Louis. We see a projection of Mama Odie as she is storing her gumbo pot but is attacked by the ghost of Dr. Facilier as he spilled the pot which makes us shrink to the size of frogs, the boats go down a drop.
We enter the world under the bayou as there is a frog trying to get out of a bottle and a 2 frogs playing the bongos as we go down another drop. The world is now colorful as the bayou comes to life. “Dig a Little Deeper” plays, there are 2 frogs playing flower trumpets, a toad playing the drums, a snake playing his tail as a flute, and several flowers playing instruments. The music dies down as we see screens of the ghost of Dr. Facilier and his Friends on the Other Side are attacking Mama Odie as an epic battle occurs, we see a family of frogs cowering in fear as a shadow is approaching them. The weather becomes worse as the wind picks up as the surrounding area is being decimated by the battle. A screen shows the friends attacking Mama Odie as Dr. Facilier notices us and begins to attack us with magic as we go up the lift hill. Dr. Facilier sings “Are You Ready” as we approach the drop, his friends are covering the walls as a Dr. Facilier animatronic is telling us that this will be our last ride on this earth and his friends will surely like their company as we go down the drop. We wind back through the bayou as we survived the battle, the trees are covered with fireflies as we wind through the bayou. There is a skunk playing a trumpet, an alligator playing a piano, and 2 frogs singing. The boats go down a drop into the final scene.
We enter into the city of New Orleans as we enter into the celebration of the defeat of Dr. Facilier. Animatronics of Tiana’s mother and Dotty greeting us, an animal band playing an assortment of instruments to the right, several buildings with screen projections of people dancing and playing instruments, and other animals playing. Center stage is Tiana, Louis, and Prince Naveen playing instruments in front of Tiana’s Place as we take a turn to the left. There is a projection of New Orleans with several fireworks going off as the city celebrates Dr. Facilier defeat. We see Mama Odie saying goodbye to guests as there is a jar that holds the spirit of the doctor as he try’s to get out. The ride ends here.
