MY REPORT
Sorry but I am terrible at spelling and grammer so bear with me.
Well Me (Jeff age 25) and my girlfriend Wendy (age 23) where packed on wensday the night before we Left, When I got home from work Thursday I slept for 2 hours had a 19 hour ride ahead of me. From Chicago. So we Left around 6:30pm and got stuck at the end of Chicago Rush Hour Then Finally on I-65 heading south, After 2 redbulls and a large cup of coffee I drove all night while my girlfriend Slept all night. I Listen to my farvorite book on the cd player to kill the time. the gunslinger. Finally day light hit us and we where in atlanta Georgia durring rush hour will minor delays, and we stoped off at a cracker barrel for breakfest. We where in and out withen 30min it was great and alot better than stopping at a mcdonalds. Finally around 2:30pm we arived at the Polynesian Resort and checked it.
We had the tahiti room on the 3rd floor, This was my first time in a deluxe room and boy what a difference the rooms where so much wider than the moderate. The location was great for the monorail We actually just walked to the TTC it was shorter then the walk to The Polynesian monorail stop. but kinda a far walk to the bus stop.
Then we where off to the super walmart in kissimie off 192 its got to be the biggest walmart in the us. It was so crowed and the prices are really cheap. This is where we buy our beer, and breakfest. And bottled water its so much cheaper there.
Then back to the room and where getting ready for the 'Ohana What a great meal my favorite was the dessert the carmel and pinapple. Then back to the bar for a couple drinks then swimming then time for bed as we planed for the mgm the next day.
Well i will not go threw the rest of the dayswe did so much park hopping this year I cannot remember everything. 2 - 3 parks a day.
Well MGM Was the Same Mostly except for the big hat in front of the great movie ride. Not really crowded lots of people walking around but really short rides. I really like the animation tour but if you go on the tour try to go during the week during 8am-5pm you can see people actually working the first time we went was saturday and it was boring but we went again on tuesday and there where people drawing away at there desk it was really cool. Who wants to be a millionare has show every 45 min or so not one after another like last year. We ate at the 50's prime time cafe we stop there every year, I had the chicken pot pie and it was great.
Ok Magic kingdom, It was Crowed About 1/2 the rides had 20 min ride most walked right on. Saw the fire works in the rain on saturday, they where ok I think they can do alot better for only having them on weekends. Rode our favorite rides saw the parade, it was good better than last years. We ate at the liberty tree tavern was ok better then the fast food place we try to only eat at the site down places. only question I have is why is it called a tavern if they dont sell beer? as I found out no Beer in the magic kingdom.
Animal Kingdom. I have to say that tarzan rocks is one of the best show i have evern see, As seeing if for the first time this year, Actually i saw it twice this time and have it on video and photos. We never eat in this park only get coffee and muffins here. Rode the Kilimanjaro Safaris nd it was great actually rode it 3 times 2 different days. Saw many animals even in the hot 90 degree weather every day and little rain.
ok Now Epcot my favorite park. I have to say they have some of the best live music there , I really enjoyed the uk, canada, morocco, and the us seen them all multiple times. Rode test track 3 times all at night and less then a 15 min wait. But mostely we like to walk and eat at all the countries. We ate at the germany Biergarten of my favorite places and the music is great. First time eating at Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Room in japan the food was really good and sat next to some nice people from MASS. Also at in mexico which is always good and Drank alot of beer in the pub in the uk.
We also went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue which was great and hardly anyone there only 10 tables where filled it was a tuesday night late show you get 20% off if your a disney club card member. I wish I would of gone there the past couple years. I didnt get to taste the Starwberry short cake because i was picked to be the indian on stage.
Polynesian Luau was good also i have done it in the past and decided to do it again since we added another night at are hotel to do universal studios. They changed it around alittle bit and seemed better. And some guy lost his pants in the last part of the show doing the hula, This was Thursday Late Show. Sept 19.
Also Went to Pleasure Island 3 times.
Stoped at animal kingdom resort and its a huge and nice resort I think i would stay at.
Typoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach We would go there when they first open ride what we wanted and left this was the only time we drove. the rest of the time was disney transporation.
We average to get up at 7:45am and up to around 1-2pm. But your at disney you never get tired. One day I did get drained but I had some fruit and orange juice and was ready to go out again in the evening. The weather was 90+ every day and i loved it.
Overall this was the best year there the crowds where ok not as empty as last year but never had to wait for a ride.
One more thing I drove threw Celebration, what an intresting town i love it i have video of it when i capture it i can get some photos.
hope you enjoyed I ill post pictures and working on a web page.
if you have any question just ask.
