Hello all I am back from my Magical trip.
First my fiance and I checked in at All Stars Music at about 7.30 pm on the 12th. We went to our rooms and freshened up and grabbed a quick bite to eat in the All Stars Music Cafe. We then went to Downtown Disney did some shopping and then went to Pleasure Island for the night cap. We had fun there but not a super great time. We then went back to our room around 1 and fell asleep.
We then got up around 8 and got ready to leave so we had our bags sent to the WIlderness lodge. We got to the magic Kingdom around 9.10 and hit our favorite rides. We immediately headed for Peter Pan our fav. We got there and it was closed but would reopen shortly. So we went to the Pooh ride which she never had been on and loved it. Then Snow White and then Peter Pan. We had no lines at all until around noon. We just walked on them. After that Fantasy Land had 30-40 min waits on Peter and Pooh and 15 on Snow White. But the rest of the rides were less then 5 mins. We then had lunch at Cindy's Castle and then check in at the Lodge which we both had never seen before and loved it. We went back to the Kingdom for a few more hours and then headed for Epcot to see the fireworks.
On Saturday we started at Epcot and then early in the afternoon we went back to the Lodge and swam and took out a Mouser Boat. We had dinner at Whispering Canyon and that was fun. I did not ask for ketchup. That night we went to the MAgic KIngdom to see the parade and fireworks. Unfortunitly it rained during that time but the shows went on, but no Tinkerbell.
On Sunday we went to MGM and no long lines at all. But every once in a while Star TOurs would get long. Very hot that day. For dinner we went to the Polynesian and ate at Ohana. That was great. especially the pineapple and caramel. Later that night we saw Fantasmic.
Monday morning we went to Animal Kingdom for a few hours. Not a fan of that park, but it has a few good rides. We went back to the hotel and swam and took out the Pontoon Boats and went back to the Magic Kingdom. We had dinner at Tony's which was ok, nothing to write home about. And that night we went back to Downtown Disney and picked up our souvenears.
On Monday we stayed at Magic Kingdom again and had lunch at Cindy's Castle again. We left at 4 to catch our ride to the airport.
Overall we had a great time, it was more crowded this time than it was in Jan our a week after Sept 11, 2001. But we had a blast.
We cant wait to go back. But when is the question.
