One last Wishes pic:

Then we stayed where we were to let the crowd thin out a little. We got to see the castle in some colors that I had never seen before.

Then we moved over in front of the castle.

Then we decided it was time to make our way out to the bus.

That was the end of another wonderful day at MK!

Great report! My husband and I got away for an adults only trip for our Anniversary in September. We had such a blast! Don't get me wrong - love going with the kiddo- but it was super fun to reconnect with the Hubs and run around like kids :). Looks like you guys had a wonderful time. I look forward to more!

Thanks! We did have a great time! It was much different for us this time without the kids. The last time we went without them, they were all too small to ride the "bigger" rides and wouldn't have wanted to anyhow! Now the oldest two are big enough and brave enough to ride whatever they want, so at times we missed having them along on this trip! Luckily we are returning in June with them, so we'll be able to enjoy everything together then!

Before I get into our Epcot day, I'm going to share this funny little story about the shirts we wore this day. Before we left for our trip, I asked Brian if we could wear our matching shirts on our Epcot day. He basically told me no, and I basically told him he didn't really have a choice! He just rolled his eyes at me and said "whatever dear". The shirts I was talking about were these:

I bought them last December and was upset when I couldn't find them in kids' sizes. So, I didn't really look at what Brian packed, I just picked up the clothes he had laying out and put them in the suitcase. Well, we were at MK and I saw this shirt in blue and white in kids' sizes. I was so excited, except they didn't really have a "girly" color for Lily, so I commented to Brian that we would need to keep looking so we could all have shirts that match. He looks at me and says,"I don't have one with writing on it!" I said,"yes you do, it's the one you packed to wear tomorrow!" He just gave me a blank stare, and I realized that he had packed the wrong Mickey shirt! It wasn't so amusing at the time, but I did end up with a new t-shirt so we would match the next day!:D (I did finally find a teal one for Lily and got blue ones for the boys.)

Okay, so on with the report!
Thursday, November 21
We started today with another nutritious meal! (Yes, that is Coke in the mugs!)

Then we were off to Epcot.
We were about 5-6 groups back in line. Once they opened the park, we were in quickly and with no problems with the Magicbands!!

We walked quickly to Test Track, with only one pic on the way.

We jumped in the stand-by line and basically walked into the room to design our car.

Brian started out acting like we were both designing the car (that's why it is a purplish-blue color), but he ended up making all the choices! Here is what we ended up with:

This pic magically showed up in my PP account too! I'm not sure what I was looking at!

Here were our final assessments:

Then we had to take pics and play on the way out.

Brian had a little trouble keeping his car on the track!

We grabbed a paper FP on the way out to use later in the morning (that would be the only paper FP we used the whole trip!) Then I was "allowed" to take pictures of the outside!

We then made a quick tour through Mouse Gear looking for shirts for the kids. Then we went around the back and made our way over to The Land.

Stand-by was only showing a 10 minute wait, but we didn't feel the need to ride more than once, so we just used our FP+ before moving on to Living with the Land.

I didn't take too many pics in here this time. However, I always have to get pics of the water lilies for Lily!

Then we made our way back over to Test Track to use our paper FP.
This time, I was in charge of the entire design process. I deliberately chose a paint job that I knew would drive Brian crazy!

Another magical picture appearance!

I didn't do so bad after all! Only 1 point behind Brian!

He decided to give me another chance to beat him when we came back that evening for our FP+. How nice of him! (said very sarcastically!!)

Then we made our back to the front of the park so I could take the pics that I wasn't allowed to take on the way in!

We also got some PhotoPass pics. (This is the shirt Brian brought, and the one I "had" to buy to match him!)

We then rode:

Then it was time to head over to World Showcase and our lunch ADR.

Your photos are beautiful! I especially like the nighttime pics at MK of the 'iced-out' castle…and the nuetella and fruit waffle (it's my breakfast, lunch and snack when we visit ;))! Cannot wait to read more!

LOVE matching shirts!! I can usually get my husband to wear the matching shirt if it's not the SAME EXACT color - like usually different colors but same shirt.

I'm using your pictures of MK at Christmas to try to convince him we should head down next weekend. ;):angelic:

I'm pretty sure it was one of your trip reports where I first saw that particular shirt and decided to buy them for us last December. He will be much more willing to wear it when all 5 of us have the same shirt on! I think a trip next weekend sounds perfect!! I hope my pics help your case!

I love that you can see my favorite ride from WS!!

First stop was Mexico.

Then we had to skip Norway, China, and Germany to make it to our ADR on time.

This was the biggest disappointment of the week! I had such high expectations because our experience here last December was awesome, but it was borderline awful this time! It was almost like we weren't worth dealing with because there were only 2 of us. It took forever for us to see our waitress, and then she acted like we were a bother to her. I ordered the candele pasta.

The flavor was good, but it was barely warm. Brian ordered a pepperoni pizza.

It looks good, and I can't pinpoint what was wrong with it, but the flavor was just "off". It was nothing like the pizza my mom and I shared in Dec. The only good part of the meal was dessert. Brian ordered coppa di brutti ma buon - it was some sort of cherry sundae, and he really enjoyed it.

I ordered the zeppole de caterina. They were good as well.

And they brought us an anniversary dessert. It was not very good. (Owen had the same dessert brought to him last year for his birthday, and he didn't like it either!)

Needless to say, we won't be rushing back to Via Napoli.
A few last pics on our way out of Italy.

We backtracked to Germany.

We stopped in here to get me some Werther's caramel popcorn to snack on later. I couldn't talk Brian into getting anything!:jawdrop:

I think we were trying to get SSE in the background of this picture, but once again, our big heads block the view!

Then a stop in China.

Canada:

Brian and I got a kick out of the soaps in the store.

I really liked the smell of the beaver butt soap! But I refused to pay whatever obnoxious price it was that they were asking!
