1. go with the fewest people possible.

2. go only with people who LIKE to go to WDW.

3. go with people who don't care what we do/see

4. go one time by yourself.

5. go with people who won't be upset by spliting up the group. (Oh ok you can eat there and I will eat here and we will met up at that place in 20 minutes)

6. Dont be afraid to sit on a park bench for 10 minutes and soak up the atmosphere. Most people run constantly and at the end the whole day was a blur.

7. Wear a wrist watch and look at it constantly. This will make time go slower. You don't want to pass a clock and say "wow it's 5 oclock already"

8. at the buffets, dont eat bread. This will take up room better served on other dishes.

9. when walking thru crowed areas stay 2 feet behind someone in front and when they are stoped head on by someone, step around them to the left. this is how running backs use their blockers. Effective !!!

10. When everyone goes to the parade. You go to the attractions !!!

!!!! have a blast on your next trip !!!!:sohappy:

if you have a park hopper pass , dont worry about doing a whole park in one day, spread it out, say you are in the magic kingdom and you want to see fantasmic at mgm, go to your room and rest then go back to mgm, after i usually go shopping on main streat or just ride the monorail, but dont feel that you are being rushed, but anything you do at wdw will be fun:wave:

A few more tips:

Have a plan before you arrive.

Don't worry if your plans change.

Wear comfortable shoes.

Talk to strangers.

Good idea to skip the bread at buffets, but don't bother trying to resist the rolls at Liberty Tree Tavern.

Follow your kids. Let them decide what's fun for them. It's wonderful how much fun you have yourself by following this simple rule.

The most tragic site I've witnessed is a father and mother screaming at their tired, crying child "We came here to have fun and you're ruining it!" Kids don't know how to ruin fun, it's not in their natures.

Hey - taking a lot of pictures helps me at really crowded times. It takes my mind off the wait. I have a digital camera with a 1 gig card which is about 700 photos. Maybe that is not very much - I'm not a techno person but it amazes my little mind. :lol:I like to take ride queue pictures which passes time pretty well. Weird that when we go on non-peak days I don't take as many pics and then I get sad when I get home because I don't have anything to look back on! :lookaroun

I like the be sure to talk to strangers advice. I like to listen for really crazy northern accents (OK no one get mad at me for that...) and then ask where they are from. ("Where y'all from..?") Before Illuminations last Feb I met a couple from Wisconsin who were freezing :lol::lol: and talking about it not being nearly so cold there a few days before when they left. Guess since I spend all my vacations at WDW I don't get out much so I take my little bits of culture where I can find them...:lookaroun

Exellent point. I have so much fun going with my kids. They just enhance the fun, the look on their faces and such. I see a lot of families upset, kids crying, parents anguished. Sad but, maybe because we have gone many times, we just have fun being there. We just walk and the kids(youngest 4) don't care, if we pass something and the kids or wife says "I want to go in" we just go in, if nobody says anything we just keep walking. My kid cried once at WDW, he was looking back and triped over his own feet.

My favouite time is going with people who have never been to WDW before. To see the looks on their faces makes it so much better - you can relive your first time through them

I agree with that 100%! We're in WDW now on our vacation and it's fun to watch all the people who you can tell it's their first time on an attraction!!

I do that a lot!!! Always go back to the MK for wishes, and to EPCOT for Orange Chicken in China!!!

I agree 100%

Have a rough plan and change it as needed.

Don't push your kids. It takes the fun out of it for you and them.

Take a nap everyday.

Don't worry if you can't ride every ride. Decide which ones are the most important and try for those.

Don't waste time on the parade unless you have done everything else you wanted to do.

Just my two cents.

Going to be there tomorrow!!!!
