My take on the FLE

I got to experience the new FLE expansion last week during my trip to the world so I thought I would throw out my two cents on the project.

Lets start in the Circus. I really liked the whole area extremely well themed and I really liked the Dumbo area. The sideshow M&G was pretty well done. I actually liked how it was just one big open area with all four characters but two lines. That way you can see what you are missing with the others and get back in line to see them.

Castle walls look great as does the theming around the Forest area and LM area, I really wish I could have seen it in the daytime. Que area for LM is awesome and the Gaston Fountain and that area equally as awesome. BOG looks good, I love the gargoyles, Lions and such holding things up around the place. Belle's cottage we pretty neat. The Mirror in the workshop was the best thing in the whole place in my opinion. The wardrobe was neat wish it could have been more interactive somehow. The same goes for Lumier.

Now for what I didn't like. The LM ride was so-so not very impressed, I actually think the ride through video makes it look better than it actually is. Ariels grotto: you would think with all the great theming they did everywhere else this would be more than a bench in a cave. Where are all her trinkets and things? I never saw the old one so maybe this is just in the same design. The whole storytime with Belle is a waist of time. My girls love Belle and would be much happier just meeting her like before with the other princesses.

Overall I like the area it looks amazing and I can't wait to see how it looks with the mine train completed. Anyway that is my two cents on this whole thing so criticize away.

I don't see much to criticize really, just looks like a perfectly reasonable opinion to have...but if you want some criticism.....

......how dare you visit Storybook Circus and not complain about the ugly fence around Casey Jr.

......how dare you not complain that the Gaston fountain doesn't have him holding a gun!

......how dare you not be able to wait until the mine train is completed... the rest of us have to wait, why shouldn't you??

.....that is all

How dare you not complain about a lack of michael bay motion simulator????

Your bitterness and idiocy has gotten to the point where your posts are simply laughable to read. Transformers is an E ticket ride. Nothing in NFE is. There is stuff to praise and criticize in the area. But I'd take an E ticket similar to Transformers to have been put in over any of the clones they put in there.

My family got to do an AP preview yesterday. I had already had plenty of chances to go in FLE but held off until my entire family could see it together. I largely agree with the OP and with what others have said here. Everything sure is pretty to look at but the attractions weren't overly impressive. We were able to walk onto The Little Mermaid ride, and I would never wait more than 10 minutes to do this again. Although the AA's were nice, I still prefer Peter Pan and our inferior version of Pooh to this ride. Next we waited 45 minutes to see Belle, and I definitely will never do this again. The mirror effect was cool, as were the wardrobe and Lumiere, but the wait is way too long for what you get. Even my DD8 who loves Belle was not impressed. With such low capacity, I can't imagine what the wait times will be when it's open to everyone. Storybook Circus was very well-themed but Dumbo, the Barnstormer, and a splash area will never be on my must-do list. Overall, my favorite thing was drinking LeFou's Brew and eating a pork shank at Gaston's Tavern, although I'm sure it will be impossible to get a seat in there once it's open to the public. In the end, while I wasn't too impressed with all the new stuff, I'm hoping they serve the purpose of luring families (and strollers) away from other areas of MK, making the lines for things I like doing shorter. :)

......how dare you visit Storybook Circus and not complain about the ugly fence around Casey Jr. I actually didn't even notice the fence. It was about 60 degrees when I was there and no one was playing in the water.

......how dare you not complain that the Gaston fountain doesn't have him holding a gun! I saw it at night and again didn't even really notice. If people on here didn't point out that in the movie he had a gun I wouldn't have known any different.

......how dare you not be able to wait until the mine train is completed... the rest of us have to wait, why shouldn't you?? Sorry, I was taking my shot when I was able. I probably won't get back to WDW until the mine train is an old story or they are replacing this whole area.

.....that is all

I am really looking forward to spending alot of time in Fantasyland on this upcoming trip, both to see all the new attractions and to visit a few of the old favorites..:)
