Inner Space Pavilion
So as we all know the Wonders of Life Pavilion has been abandoned for some time, there were plans to replace it with some sort of social media pavilion but I have a better idea, what if an old Tomorrowland attraction is brought back from the dead and brought to Epcot. The attraction that I am speaking of is Adventure Thru Inner Space, the reason why I brought this attraction to Epcot is due to its educational nature and the fact that it fits well with World Discovery. So without further delay let’s go through my version of what should replace the Wonders of Life Pavilion.
Going past the Xandarian pavilion, guests walk through an opening in the forest which holds the new pavilion. The opening in the forest holds a large white building themed to a science laboratory which has a blue and red mural that shows red blood cells and H2O going through the body, a large blue glass dome, and 2 smaller spires that let natural light into the indoor pavilion. Outside of the pavilion are 2 rows of small splash pads where kids can play in the water, there is also small signs that inform guests about H2O. In the center of the splash pad is a statue of a water molecule with streams of water going down the statue. On either side of the mural is an entrance to the inside of the pavilion, the inside of the pavilion is actually pretty dimly lit with there only being blue lights covering the ceiling and the dome showcasing several different molecules going through the bloodstream. Guests walk through white double doors as they enter into the main gift shop of the laboratory, the gift shop itself sells Adventure Thru Inner Space merchandise which is being held on sleek white shelves. In the center of the shop is a large tube that has a projection effect of white and red blood cells quickly moving through the bloodstream, another highlight is a giant microscope that could be walked into where guests can look into it and see a whole slew of different things inside of the human body, they can even put parts of the body inside of the microscope and see their own body’s up close.
On the right of the laboratory is the Atomic Cafe, a quick service restaurant that sells atom themed foods (Similar to that Ant Man restaurant). Guests can either eat inside of the building itself or take a seat on the second story which gives a good view of the pavilion. On the first story guests walk through the pillars of the cafe as they see a large room filled with tables, a large kitchen area in the back, and a soda and drink bar where guests can choose traditional or themed drinks to the far left, and a condiment stand to the right which gives guests a whole slew of different themed condiments to try on their foods the right. The tables are themed to old cafeteria tables that can seat up to 5 people and the chairs are similarly themed. A main highlight of this restaurant is its uniquely themed food you can purchase foods that are super tiny or you can things that are slightly bigger than normal, the foods are themed to different molecules of the body such as H2O or red blood cells. For people sitting on the second floor you can view the vehicles of Adventure Thru Inner Space passing by on their journey into Inner Space.
At the back of the pavilion is the entrance to the attraction of the pavilion Adventure Thru Inner Space, an Omnimiver dark ride. Guests enter into the laboratory through 2 white double doors and enter into a long hallway, inside of the hallway are 6 large screens on either side of the wall that looks into different rooms of the laboratory from a scientist looking into a microscope to a group of scientists conducting experiments. Going through a set of double doors where a scanner will scan guests for harmful bacteria, guests enter into a large room with a giant kaleidoscope where the vehicles pass through the scope. Guests go back to back to get closer to the loading station which is inside of the kaleidoscope, an escalator brings guests to the loading station where they enter the original vehicles cars, once the vehicles leave the station a optical illusion makes guests shrink down to the size of a molecule.
Scene 1: The vehicles enter into a large science room where their is scientists conducting experiments on different molecules (using projections), the vehicles enter into a machine where we shrink down into the size of an atom.
Everything after this is exactly the same as the original ride so if you want to know the rest of the ride basically just watch or read the ride. The ride includes better effects, props, and projections.
