There are a multitude of trainers on the internet that allow you to pause time, add money, change weather, etc.

I am sure that you can probably load an add-on park in RCT2 and have everything from the add-ons in that park.

Wrong. If you download a park that uses WW or TT and you only have RCT2, you will not be able to view it. WW and TT objects are programmed so that they cannot be exported from a park.

For custom objects, download the RCT2 Object Editor by Doctor J. It is pretty simple to use and well worth the time.

And DarkMeasures, no offense, but why are you so negative about other peoples parks? Especially the scale of them. You do know that RCT2's measurements are not real, just estimated guesses, right? I mean come on, this guys park is something great, but all you care about is the scale.

You know what, why don't you post your park? Then everyone can take a look at it in person and see how to do scales right.

I guess I forgot how many people liked what i was doing, and after the recuring interest and going back and reading the previous compliments, I'll do my best to get this project up and going again, but no garuntees. I could use some help too. A better layout of the epcot landscaping and detailed pic of world show case would help for that project. I need ride layouts for basically everything and more detailed pics of the magic kingdom in general. And if someone else would like to tackle mgm and ak, that might motivate me all the more.

It has been because it took me years to figure out the scales for that game and it has been haunting me until I found them with RCT2. Chris Sawyer may have just saved my life but he is the reason I almost died too.

And yet, another thing that drives me mad is because I have yet to see someone measure up to the guy who did the parks in the RCTDisneyland Timeline. I am not even with his level. But He designed the park so well with such limitations.

Another thing is that people criticise what I do, but then they never ever look through layers and notice anything. For example, when I did Space Mountain, that is all you are going to see from above. There is very little detail on the Entrance building. But for the Arcade, I have dled a bunch of fan scenery that would allow a very detailed and accurate design. I know have acess to quarter blocks and roof tiles of different degrees.

I can now make the curved roof...and such.

But another reason I don't like many people's designs is this too. Large buildings usually turn out very ugly. Take Space Mountain, many people build a large square when they could easily figure out the shape of the building using MS Paint. But if not, they could always use a giant Octagon like that one person did with his Disney, and I really like his design.

Here is another thing that bothers me. Trees. People often seem to place the same tree next to itself over and over again. Good for a tree farm but in the end it looks really unnatural... but it is just a pet peeve of mine.

Oh well.... I just want to know why Martin hates my Castle. I built what I envision exactly. A large glowing blue Castle that blends perfectly with the sky. Guests wont emmidiatly notice it unless they look for a while. Up near the castle, large flying buttresses travel down the castle like a Waterfall right down to the ground. And yet there is also the large resemblence of a Cathedral and not a Castle.

But Opinions are opinions unless you are trying to get the other person mad and only hate the stucture because you hate the person who built it.

Ok, this is a thread about my parks, so take this somewhere else because it's cluttering my page. I don't like your castle because there isn't anything special about it. And the buildings I've done for main street turn out big and have gotten nothing but compliments for them. You can't add certain details to a building unless the building is overly large(just how the scenery is designed) ie windows ect, and if you don't add certain things it's just a big block. And just for the record, the scale in rct 2 is stupid. I mean, how many AA do you see that are twice to eight times the size of the park guests, or a phone booth half the size of the statue of libery?

Well, martin, I personally think you are doing a great job so far, even though there are only two screens. Your Main Street is very similar to mine. We must have been looking at the same pictures when we built them!

The only suggestion I have is try to doublewall your buildings to get more detail into them. What I mean by doublewall is to place one wall directly against another as decoration. I do it all over my park and it makes it look 10x better. Try it. I think you have some awesome potential. And I've been in the RCT2 community for a while so that is definately a comment to be proud of.

I had a lot more screens up before and then I tried to add more and it wouldn't let me because they greatly decreased my mermory space. SO to add a new pic I had to get rid of all but 1. I probally had 8 on at one time. And with this double walling thing do you mean like having a glass tile for a window and then add a solid tile behind it to hide what's inside, or do you just mean doubling up on the walls regardless? I did double walling on my WOM I did. I put a glass tile infront of a skyscraper tile and got a nice mirror effect. ANd thanks for the compliment. An honor.

Those are great, i see nothing wrong with the castle, I think I like it because its not a remake its owns thought, and martins, i wish i could see yours too bad about the memory thing, all i can suggest is maybe having a free site on geocities or something and putting it at your signature( the url), and having multiple pictures on your site of your rct2 park

I've been workin on the castle and it looks pretty freakin sweet so far. I'll get pics up when I'm done and I'll take cap pineapple's advice and have my pics posted there, but I'm gonna make more progress before I get reall crazy with the pics.
