My rant on the new ideas about Pixie Hollow & FLE

Am I the only person who thinks Fantasylands Skyway station is under used in the FLE plans! With all this chatter about scaling back on Pixie Hollow or even considering a whole new plan all together, I find it odd that this prime land is kinda being forgotten. Why not just turn the Skyway building into the Lost boys tree house since it is ajoining to Peter Pans Flight and take the rest of the grounds and model it after the Pixie Hollow M&G found in Disneyland and call it a day! Just my opinion! Any thoughts?

The main problem with this area is that the surrounding land acts as camouflage for the show building of the Haunted Mansion. Even the Skyway building itself if knocked down would reveal the show building.

It leaves very little property for use as an actual M&G.

Yes.

I was walking around the Skyway station area a few days ago...it's a beautiful building but as long as it's not being utilized, it's wasted space. The inside has cables all over the place (and lots of straw/hay)...you can see one set of cable running up the staircase by the water fountains (which is right behind the Cast Members Only sign.) Hopefully they find a way to work the waterfalls into Pixie Hollow, sort of like what they do over at Disneyland. :)

Honestly, as much as I wouldn't mind PH or something like that going on the Skyway building, I think there's very little areas in which you can be calm and things like that.

"Tangled: The Ride"

A hair-raising thrill ride up and down the tower (similar to the Maliboomer at CA, or Dr. Doom's Fearfall at IOA). :lookaroun

LOL  Funny you say that! I was actually thinking they could use the Skyway building as some sort of M&G for Tangled.

I like this idea.

See, adjoining means 'across the main path from one land to another'.

Definition changed recently, you must have missed it.

Are we talking about the same Skyway station? I'm discussing the Swiss Styled building which was once the Fanasyland Skyway station located on the left of it's a small world.

Look I get that the ride and the area in question are not connected, however they are near each other which is a H E Double hockey sticks closer than where PH was planned to be placed. It seems (IMHO) it would make more sense to build something of this nature (Peter Pan or Tinkerbell inspired) near a ride with a theme that connects the two.
