My Pixar Land Concept

Hello everyone! I've been a lurker on this forum for about two years now and have finally decided to take the leap and make my own post! I've been working on a concept for a Pixar themed land that would go in a fictional theme park similar to Walt Disney Studios in Paris but with overall better theming. This park would also include a Marvel themed area, as well as other numerous non IP based attractions. Anyway I've come up with a sort of Phase I set of attractions for the area and have also done some (amateur)artwork to showcase my ideas.

Pixar Place Overview
My Pixar Place is what I believe the area of the same name in DHS could have been if they had fully fleshed out the idea. I aim for every Pixar Movie past and future to be represented in some way in this land whether it be by an actual attraction, a shop, or just a simple easter egg. So far for Phase I of Pixar Place there are 6 attractions, 3 live entertainment headliners, 3 dining options, and 6 locations that sell a variety of Pixar merchandise.

Attractions
The Toy Story Express -
Family Coaster - Woody, Buzz, and all their toy friends have built a spectacular roller coaster using Andy’s Mega Coaster Play Kit that he got for his birthday. Dash and Dodge through this thrilling ride through a toy filled wonderland.

WALL-E: Operation Exploration - Drop Tower similar to TOT or GOTG:MB - Join WALL-E the lovable trash collecting robot along with his friends EVE, M-O, and Hal as you explore an abandoned Buy-N-Large factory in search of a newly discovered flower that will certainly bring a new sense of light to the now expanding human civilization. Unbeknownst to you or your mechanical pals, along the way you accidentally trigger the factory's security system which was programmed to do one thing, stop intruders. Your once leisurely adventure turns thrilling as you are shot up and down the massive tower in a last ditch effort to accomplish your mission. This attraction will utilize a mix of screen technology and real set pieces with animatronics placed throughout the tower along with the elevator drop tower randomization of TOT and GOTG:MB.

The Incredibles Ride (Anyone got name Suggestions?) - High Capacity Simulator similar to StormRider/SeaRider - You have been chosen as new recruits to the Metroville Police Department to test drive their next generation police vehicles which will be used to helped combat the growing number of supervillains which are quickly popping up all over the city. What starts out as a routine drive through the breathtaking city quickly takes a turn for the worse when the Underminer and his mechanical army invade the city from the underground, thankfully The Incredibles and Frozone are there to save the day! This simulator will utilize screens during the main attraction but will feature two impressive AAs of Edna Mode and Frozone in the queue.

Monsters Inc: Peek-A-Boo Rescue - Interactive Dark Ride - Hurry! Mike and Sully need your help to find Boo in the expansive former scare factory and save her from Randall who has returned from the human world and has his sights set on Boo. Use your Peek-A-Boo flashlights to search the factory and find Boo before it's too late! This ride will utilze the same technology that is used for Mike & Sully to the Rescue in Tokyo.

Inside Out: Swirling Emotions - Trackless Spinner similar to Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters - Join Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust as they create magical memories for Riley in this fast paced and exciting flatride that will get your imagination working overtime.

A Bug's Life Playland - Similar to the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area that was in DHS - Shrink down to the size of an ant as you journey through this immersive play area themed to the world of Its A Bugs Life.

This is a piece I started but never really got around to fully finishing, it includes WALL-E, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, and part of the Toy Story Express.

the story of the Wisp.

All right so this is what I have so far, I know its not much but I felt it'd be at least worth sharing for the feedback. Please don't be too harsh though :)... I've never showcased any of my armchair imagineering before. I plan to bring more updates soon with more in depth attraction descriptions and probably more artwork if I can find the time. Hopefully I can fully flesh out this area and make it something really special! If you have any suggestions or critiques don't be afraid to share! Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the forums! (Posting that is:))

Fantastic designs here -- wonderful art as well! Pixar is something that has the potential for a large-scale land (even a park) but it seems like the films get scattered in their own areas and for some reason Toy Story Land is an obsession (it's cool- but I'd like to see stuff like Wall-E and The Incredibles) and you do a great job of bringing those into fruition!

Thank you! And I completely agree, the world of Pixar is rich and has so many possibilities for telling immersive stories in the context of a theme park that its a shame we have yet to see a full blown area themed to it. WALL-E and UP! are among my favorite Disney movies and I would love for their presence in the parks to expand in the near future.
