Thanks for the positive review. I communicated privately with another CM who rode it today. They indicated that it's exactly what was expected, and will be great for families. In my opinion, that's just what the MK needed - not another E-Ticket attraction.

If she can handle the drop on Pirates, then she should be able to ride the Mine Train. Though I'm only basing this on what I'm hearing from those who've ridden it, and watching a few YouTube videos.

I haven't ridden it, but I'm pretty sure the drops are very different from each other. One is an easy drop that goes straight down, in an indoor, controlled environment. The other is a coaster, with longer drops and higher speeds. Definitely not huge, but in no way similar (or equal to) the drop in Pirates.

Sounds great! Can you tell me more about the swinging cars? Do you notice the swinging or is it pretty subtle?

Thanks for sharing the video!

I'm looking forward to it but my only concern is feeling 'meh' after getting off because it seems like you can really get into the movement and swinging and then bam in no time at all, you slow to a stop. I'm sure it's still going to be fun and I have an open mind about the ride, but that's probably my concern. I don't mind stopping for the show scene but it just seems a tiny bit too short in terms of actually really getting into the coaster aspect of it, which seems like a blast.

Looks like it's not too scary, maybe a step up from Thunder Mountain? It looks more interesting to me than the new Little Mermaid ride, which is basically the same thing as the Nemo shell ride.

A step down from Big Thunder.

Why do you say that? I see it's not a thrill coaster, but it's not babyish either, plus it appears to have that Disney detail. I kind of like the show too. But of course I haven't seen it in person yet...

Given that the post they were quoting discussed whether or not the ride was scaring, I think the person you quoted was talking about the thrill aspect of the ride.
