Best POR tip: When you are leaving MK at closing time, and the line for POR is incredibly long, Look behind you at the POFQ line. It's a 7 minute walk from the POFQ bus along the Sassagoula to POR. Great way to end the day, too.
Spot on,have done this before when about 100 South American kids were waiting at PORS..But Iam sure POFQ bus depot is opposite you, rather than behind you.. Now you've got me thinking..

Thanks for the tip. This was one of my concerns about POR. We had this happen at CBR and it is really frustrating.

Our first day we tried to use the West Depot. It was raining and we thought that was the best idea not to get to soaked. We waited 20 or more minutes for a bus to stop for pickup to MK. We saw a lot of full buses. After that night we walked the 5 minutes to wait at the main depot, never used the other depots again.

We are going from Sept 7-17. I was hoping it would not be overly busy at that time, based on park crowd calendars, but the Disney website shows no vacancies for POR during that period. Hopefully the bus service isn't too bad!

My resort tip, Laundry Day, as well is at POR. If you do laundry at Disney do it early in the morning. I get it all ready the night before I'm an early riser like 5AM I put it in the washer, which are all empty because everyone is sleeping. I head for my coffee, which the food court is empty. I drink it sitting at the tables outside enjoying the peacefulness. grab another cup and head back to the laundry. by the time I get back its ready for the dry, which are all empty because everyone is still sleeping.

I had to check you weren't from Scotland..:p.
.I must admit I love breakfast at the food court, even at 7.30am they are more CM's than tourists..I sit outside ( weather permitting ) next to the big wheel, and relax whilst planning out my day ahead..;)

Heh, almost -- my husband's heritage is mostly Scottish: Clan Moffat, to be exact. To my great disappointment, I have yet to convince him to purchase a kilt for daily wear. :)
