Good Morning Folks..Continuing on my favourite tips thread..Here's my AK tip..When you queue for " Finding Nemo. The Musical".. When the doors open, don't rush for the front rows. The stage is so high, you won't see half of the action on stage.Sit yourself round about the middle rows for a better view of the show..What is your number one tip for AK.?;)

I agree take your time. This is my favourite park to sit on a bench and relax, the sounds are just amazing but if you are rushing around you never get to take them in. There are lots of little spots tucked away that you can sit and enjoy the peace of AK with your family away from the hustle and bustle or people rushing through. This park is beautiful if you take the time to enjoy it.

Take advantage of all of the walk through areas. Some many people complain about the lack of attractions at AK, but I think many fail to realize that the park itself is an attraction. One can spend an entire day walking around and looking at wildlife that they would never otherwise see.Enjoy the opportunities to wander through Jungle Trek or to observe the variety of animals that seem to be everywhere in the park.

At the lion king we always let people go in and fill up a lower row. We then sit on the end. Better ciewing fir little ones and my daughter has been picked to be in the show 5 times. This prob doesn't matter now that the lion king will be in a new building but maybe.

Stay the whole day and take your time. I know that many people go in early then leave by mid to later afternoon to do other parks. Do the live animal attractions earlier in the day. Then when the park is pretty empty, do the rides and other shows, like Nemo. You can walk on pretty much everything like EE and Dinosaur.

Ignore the advice that you must head for the Kilamanjaro Safari first thing in the morning.

We've been early morning and at midday when it's supposedly too hot for the animals - we saw more animals at midday (and when it rained during the afternoon!)

Don't go in the Summer, as the weather really takes its toll and this park has fewer places of refuge from the heat. You'll decide to hate a really nice theme park if you go in the Summer.

Get there early - when the park opens. Beat the crowd and the heat. You'll have plenty of time to ride Everest, Dino, Safari and Kali - and get fastpasses for later. After your morning romp, sit in the A/C to watch Tough to be a Bug then grab lunch. After lunch you can go back and use your FP's or see a show like Festival of the Lion King, Birds of flight or Nemo. You can then take a nice stroll on one of the animal exhibit paths, take some family pictures and have plenty of time to make it over to AKL for your dinner ADR at Sanaa, Boma or Jiko. In fact you may want to get there early to explore the beautiful resorts; Jamba House and Kidani Village.

The Florida weather is not always your friend. But when it is doable, take your food outside and find one of DAK's many lovely little seating areas.

They say DAK lacks good food options. However that may be, I thoroughly enjoy eating there because there is always a new secluded area to discover.

Yak and Yeti is well themed. Pizzafari has lovingly decorated seating areas indoors and outdoors. Tamu Tamu's outdoor area is small but genius. Flame Trees' gardens are up there with the best in WDW, and what a view!
