We aren't too far apart then - except that I am about twice your age! Where are you flying out of? We usually fly with Virgin out of Gatwick or Manchester but flew out of Dublin with Britannia this year. There is very little difference time wise - it takes about 2 hours to get to Dublin or the mainland - but Virgin were MUCH better to fly with. We had been looking at going with BA next time - they offered free connecting flights from Aldergrove to Heathrow - that was BEFORE they pulled out of Aldergrove altogether!! Guess it's back to reading the Virgin brochure from cover to cover!
