I've yet to even think about what pumpkins I'm going to do this year! I suppose I should get on that being Halloween is only two weeks away. :brick:

Any good ideas out there? Any good online sources for Disney patters? I might just make my own patterns this year; also I'm thinking of switching to the hard foam pumpkins. Real ones are very fun, but they only last about two or three days around here with the humidity and bugs.

We've got the same problem with real pumpkins. If you lubricate the cut out sections with vasoline they last awhile longer. I don't remember where I read it, but I read that a couple years ago. A Qtip with vasoline works best.

We've switched to those hard foam pumpkins for carving too. After 10 years of watching these big masterpieces shrivel up, we got tired of it. Last year we did some of the House of 1000 corpses characters. Some of our best work yet and nothing to show for it.
