Hello!
I am currently planing out first disney world trip with out boys who are 6 ( we're leaving On his 6th birthday!!) and 7.
I want to make his birthday special... Is there anything I can request/sign up for to make his birthday special? I want to make it magical!
I am staying at the Caribbean beach resort, can we decorate the windows?
I'm very excited!

Yes, call Disney and let them know about his birthday and you might see special things along the way. When you check in you can get him a birthday pin that he can wear and strangers will wish him a happy birthday. Yes you can decorate your window. Have a great trip!

In addition to what's been said, having him wear the Birthday Mickey Ears hat would be fun too. You can also custom make a cake to be delivered to your room, or to a Disney restaurant! I've done that twice, and have not been disappointed!

It's very cool to have all kinds of people, whether CMs or not, say Happy Birthday too you. Plus, you get little cupcakes at the end of every table service meal. You may want to inform your children that these desserts could be split in order to avoid jealousy. Or, afterwards your can buy you DS7 a cricket Bar! :hungry:

I have been to Disney a few times on my birthday and have proudly wore my birthday pin. One thing I found out is that some cast members will do different things on the pin. So my advice is to have a few made up. One CM drew stars around my name. One spelled my name wrong, Georg instead of George. I still have that one.

Ask at your resort desk when you check in, they used to arrange for a wake up call on a birthday with a special birthday greeting, not sure if its still done. Worth asking.
Get a Disney autograph book, when you meet Characters tell them its his birthday and they will write special birthday notes.
At Epcot you can buy a Passport and at every country the CM's have fun writing happy birthday and your childs name in their languages.
The piano player once played Happy Birthday to DW on her Birthday on the piano outside of Caseys.
Weve had various bus drivers announce birthdays and had the entire bus sing on the way into the parks.
