We spent a week (Jan 22nd-Jan 29th) at Pop Century. It was a fun week. Not too crowded, weather was decent most days, and best of all we had a great time.

Stay tuned to learn the meaning behind the title.

The Most Interesting View.

As we were eating, you could see that The Magic, The Memories, and You was being shown. Which meant only one thing. Wishes would be starting soon. I told my mom and nanny to hurry. I wanted to be on the monorail, during the fireworks. Now I will admit these next pictures are not the best, but they show you how much we could actually see from the monorail.

We got off at the TTC, just to board another monorail to Epcot.

We wanted to make sure my nanny got the chance to ride the monorail at least once this trip. What better than a resort loop and then one through Epcot.

These were my attempt at taking picture of Epcot at night, from the monorail. Not so great for storytelling purposes, but I like the way the look.

And if you really know Epcot, you should be able to tell what they each were supposed to be a picture of.

After our roundtrip on the monorail, we hiked it all the way to the Pop bus stop. Tomorrow is our last day. Boo hoo.

Crystal Palace, Once Again.

It was another early morning for us. We had breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:05 am this morning. I just love walking down an empty Main Street.

Walking down Main Street was a little bittersweet this morning. It was our last day. I was excited for the day ahead of us, but sad that we would be leaving the following morning. Later on this day, I started planning my Sept/Oct trip, so leaving was too bad.

I checked us in and then we waited a few minutes before they led us to our table. We sat on the opposite side this time. Today we were closer to the Adventureland bridge, that was blocked off.

First to visit our table was Winnie the Pooh. He has always been my favorite and the reason why I could eat at Crystal Palace every morning. If everyone else would let me. LOL.

My nanny asked if we could all wear our Saints shirts one day. We did hear a lot of “Who Dats.”

Eeyore was next at our table. He was sad as usual.

Here was my birthday cupcake. This little cupcakes are okay, but I was getting a little tired of them.

Piglet and Tigger came around before we finished our breakfast. We made our way out of Crystal Palace and then I saw the PhotoPass photographers. You all know where I went next.

An Early Morning Photo Shoot.

As we made our way to Tomorrowland we stopped to take some PhotoPass pictures.

These were the only ones my mom and nanny were interested in this morning. I, on the other hand, stopped at every one between Main Street and Tomorrowland.

I love pictures of Cinderella Castle from this spot.

I loved that I could change my pictures to black and white. I like the way a lot of them look in black and white better than in color.

I was about to fly away!

These streamers were not here when we passed by later on in the day. I don’t know where they came from, but they were cleaned up pretty quickly.

They were handing out stickers in Tomorrowland. So I took one, I still have that sticker on my old camera case.

Time For Some Rides.

My mom and I rode Buzz Lightyear while my nanny rode Stitch.

My score:

My mom’s score:

Expect to see many pictures of scores in the next trip report. Buzz Lightyear is one of my dad’s favorite rides. So I will be riding it many, many times.

My nanny decided she want to ride Space Mountain, and since the wait wasn’t too long I told her to go now.

While we were waiting for her, I saw Stitch roaming around by himself. It felt kinda funny to be the only person waiting to see him. But Tomorrowland was still pretty empty this morning.

Not long after see Stitch, I spot Dale. There were a few people ahead of me in line to see Dale, but I still waited.

After some character meeting it was time for the Speedway. I was just glad my sister wasn’t here to give me whiplash on this ride again.

Here is my mom in the car in front of me. I don’t even know where my nanny was on this ride.

And here I am waiting to get out of the car, once around was enough for me. I’m pretty sure those people in line behind me, were ready for there turn.

We Took The Long Way.

After riding the Speedway, we made our way over to the trail between Tomorrowland and Toon Town.

We could hear the train coming so we waited for it to pass, so I could get this picture.

After walking through, I had to get one last picture in front of the Toon Town sign.

Tigger was bouncing his way over to his meet and greet spot.

Our next ride was Haunted Mansion. Yes, we walked all the way from Tomorrowland, through Toon Town and Fantasyland, just to go on Haunted Mansion. Told you we took the long way.

While I do enjoy Haunted Mansion, parts of it still kinda creep me out. But I don’t care for anything scary to begin with.

Runaway Trains and Pirates.

My nanny decided she wanted to go on Big Thunder next.

My mom sat in one of the rocking chairs along the Rivers of America. I visited the smoking section right across from Big Thunder. I ran into rjmum again, while waiting for my nanny. It was nice to chat for a few minutes.

We decided to go to Peco’s Bills for lunch. I ordered the taco salad, but all I eat in it is the meat and cheese. So nothing too interesting. I also had a chocolate cake.

After lunch, we made our way over to the Jack Sparrow show. We all now that I love Jack, so I took way too many pictures. I will spare you all and only show you one.

We rode Pirates of The Caribbean next.

As we were coming up on the hat pirate, I was telling my mom that he didn’t have all those hats on the other day. She had no clue what I was talking about. I had to explain it to her after the ride.

I have to check and see if they still have this towel when I go back in 12 days. My nanny really like it.

We started to make our way to Main Street.

Another Photo Shoot On Main Street.

We passed my favorite place on the way to Main Street.

I stopped at the first PhotoPass photographer I saw on Main Street.

I went a little crazy with the borders, as you can tell.

The photographer asked me if I wanted to take a special picture. He told me to put my hands together and look at them. After taking the first picture, he asked me to look at him for the next picture. He then asked me if I felt or saw Tinkerbell when she landed on my hand for that split second.

More Main Street.

My mom and nanny stopped to get an ice cream and I made a stop at the smoking section across from the Plaza. I think that is a great place to sit and watch. There is a great view of Cinderella Castle, Main Street and lot of people watching.

My nanny wanted to get her haircut at the Barber Shop, so off we went.

After a few minutes, the Barber Shop was getting kinda of full, so I sat outside to take pictures.

This bird played with me the whole time we were there. Every time I snapped a picture, he had already moved. It took a good 30 snaps before I got him in frame.

Celebrate A Dream Come True.

We sat right outside of the Barber Shop. It was an awesome spot. I was able to see the parade start behind the doors. Most of the characters acknowledged my birthday. I would really recommend this spot.

Minnie and Mickey waving at us.

Both times we saw the parade, Alladin was very playful. He was always making faces at everyone. Really hamming it up for the cameras.

Parade Continued.

I love the Step Sisters.

Ariel told me Happy Birthday.

We decided to follow the parade down Main Street. My nanny thought it would be fun.

Main Street and The Castle Show.

We made our way down Main Street by shopping. First we stopped to watch this glass piece being made.

Soon enough, we were in front the castle again. I went to the smoking section right behind the castle. On the way, I passed the long line for Rapunzel. So on my way back, I snapped a few pictures. No way was I waiting in that line.

We watched the castle show before the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It Parade passed by.

Maleficent, my favorite.

One More Parade and One More Ride.

It was now time for the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It Parade.

There wasn’t much of a crowd where we were standing. We were on the Tomorrowland side of the hub. It was a great spot to watch the parade.

We made our way over to Cosmic Ray’s for dinner. I forgot to take pictures of our dinner. Sorry. I do remember that is was very good. I had a chili dog, fries and a chocolate cake.

Our last ride of the day and trip was the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

As you can see, my mom was very cold, so she was ready to go back to the hotel. After we were finished riding, my mom made her way out. My nanny decided to stay.

The Magic, The Memories and You.

I decided to watch from the Hub. I was near the edge of the inner circle. It was a nice spot to watch the show. I wish I would’ve have been a little closer.

As I was watching the show, I think I saw myself on Cinderella Castle. I believe it was the picture of Dale and I in Tomorrowland. I am not completely sure, but I do think it was my picture. I now understand why they decided to put pictures on the castle. That was an awesome feeling, seeing myself up there.

The part when Walt Disney came on and said “To all who come to this place, welcome” is my favorite part. I love that they included that.

It was now time for Wishes. I went over to the smoking section near the Plaza to watch.

This was a great spot, not very crowded and I had a decent view. It was very peaceful to watch Wishes by myself. My nanny was up near the train station watching.

Wishes.

I could watch Wishes every night. I just love it.

It was now time to make my way down Main Street one last time. I stopped at every Photo Pass I came across. When I made it to my nanny, she asked what took me so long. Then she said she figured it was me taking pictures.

My first photo pass of the trip was just my nanny and I and the last was just her and I again.

Late Night Trip To Downtown Disney

One last picture of me at Magic Kingdom. I was getting kinda sad, but I knew I would be back soon.

On the way to the bus, which surprisingly didn’t have a long line. I only had a long line one night and that was the night of EMH at Magic Kingdom.

I walked back to the room at Pop with my nanny. I called home to find out what snacks everyone wanted me to bring them home. Then I was back out the door to go to Downtown Disney.

While in the pin shop at DTD, I started talking to the guy that worked there. He was very funny. I made a comment about being back before the end of the year, he tells me “So will I.” Then he tells me that I better come find him when I go back. He said he will be waiting for me.

I made a quick stop at World Of Disney for my cookbook, then it was off to Goofy’s candy store for some goodies to bring home.

I made it back to the room, packed up some of my stuff and went to bed. Tomorrow was check out day.

See Ya Real Soon!

We packed everything into the car and then made our way to the lobby for breakfast and to say goodbye to my friend.

This is where my friend works, the gift shop portion.

We made one last check of the room and then walked over to the lake.

You can kinda see, in the background, that they were working on the buildings across the lake.

One last picture at Pop, before we loaded in the car and started the long drive home.
