So...today, we got our new project details in my 2nd Period drafting class.
Well, we are designing a house for 2 animators who were fired from WDFA-F  ... What happend was, we had a big class discusion, about them closing the studio, tuesday morning. Everyone had questions about why, since the newspaper article didnt say alot, so I answered them the best I could. Our Drafting teacher, then thought up this idea. Today, he passed out fictional letters to the Architects (us), written by the animators (him). Since I was talking so much about the subject the day before, he made me read the letter out loud  In which he wrote they were "fired in an unexpected manor" and "for unknown reasons, most likely greed". But yea, my friend and I were laughing when I was reading this outloud, cuz he is a Universal lover, Disney hater, and Im the other way, and we're always fighting as to which one is better. Anyway, our job is to remodel this crappy house, and make an art studio in the back, with a spiral staircase or something, I dunno, I kinda dosed off.
Anyway, he brought up the topic of what the animators have been doing since they got fired. He said someone in his 3rd period looked up the website for Legacy Animation (the animation company the fired Disney artists started) and he found their phone number. He called them up, and talked to some guy that was one of the main people in charge of the new studio. He said they had just started moving the stuff over to the new studio, which is located in Winter Park. My teacher then asked if they needed any help with anything, and the guy at the studio said they may need some help. My teacher asked if he needed any students to help him with anything, and the animator dude said he would call him back, and it was likely he would need some help. So, yea, I got my name down, So I may be visiting the Legacy Animation Studio sometime in the future, I'll keep you posted
(sorry for the continous babble, I have been up since 4-45am and I am TIRED!)
