Hi all. Just a note incase you missed Whats New - My Horizons video is now up for downloading from this site at http://www.wdwmagic.com/horizons.htm

The idea behind this (and my forthcoming videos) was to capture and share the memory and emotions of each attraction, and get them out to everyone.

I`ve edited this myself from my own and a friends Hi Band footage - 4 different camera angles (with closeups) in all. You get the full ride, plus some construction pics and the walk out, full source music and themes (with remastered narration), plenty of coverage of each scene (not just in and out), the full Omnisphere film loop and all 3 complete endings. Its a large download (for quality) so plan accordingly! Let me know what you think, and look out for my other 5 videos, comming here soon!

I am assuming this is the same one that is on Distro? At least the MB match up.

This is a fantastic job on the ride! I like the photo montage at the beginning. The video of the ride is excellent too.

Can I make a couple critiques to help your future stuff.

1. There is a box to check (or uncheck) to get rid of that Divx logo that pops up. It may be that your source video already had it.

2. The audio narration is a bit off; static and hissing. I would suggest using some of the master tracks laying around. It takes longer but the end result is worth the time. This is what I had to do for my SE video.

3. If you notice in the video there is fuzz at the bottom edge. Most likely what ever program you used for the final encode should have a cropping feature. Just crop by 12 pixels and that will take care of the fuzzies.

Again, excellent work! I enjoyed watching the video. Please don't take my comments as complaints - just wanted to give you some future food for thought. I hope you don't mind.

I watched your video this weekend, and I wanted to say thanks for the obvious effort you put in to it. I never had the chance to ride that attraction, so your video is as close as I'll get. And thanks for including all three endings!

1 Sorry about the annoying Divx box - I`ve just found out how to loose it (typlical)

2 I would love to get my hands on Horizons source clean narration- all I can find on DC is the source music. If I had the source dialogue too I would gladly re-edit it (I pieced together the dialogue from the 4 angles I had - picking the clearest one that matched any audible background music (especially in the Omnisphere) If anyone has Horizons source narration please PM me?

Not bad for my first attempt (and using Windows Movie Maker 2!)

The audio on my soon to appear World of Motion, Universe of Energy and Journey into Imagination videos should be clearer.

I will dig around my archives. I am pretty sure I have the source narration somewhere - at least I used to.

I am looking forward to your other videos! And you are doing that with Movie Maker? I only used it a couple times - I quickly moved up to Premiere. Excellent work, especially for your first attempt. I learn something new each time I make a video.

Yep, all done on WMM2. I think - nah, KNOW - I pushed it to its limits! My dad uses Premiere 6.5 with a Matrox board, guess I got the bug from him (we both work in TV). I was considering Pinnacle Studio 9 but have heard good and bad reviews of it so I`ll wait for the moment until a stable version comes out.

And if you can find or point me to Horizons source Narration I would be so happy. I would LOVE to be able to re-edit the vid with source narration. And of course, I would re post it!

BTW - it is the Distro vid; at least it is if its by Martin Smith! I thought the upload has terminated overnight but I managed to check it last night and it is complete.
