My FQr blunder

I waited too long to book FQ for July they were fully booked as of today. Any possibility of rooms being blocked out already for passholder rates? Kicking myself for not doing it last week. Here is hoping for an e-mail soon for July rates. We booked Coronado Springs.

I can confirm that Disney does not block rooms for future discount offers.

Remember, Disney is a business. Why would any company hold off selling a product at full price just so they can sell them at a discount later? Does this mean there will be no discount offers? No, not exactly. Many times rooms are purchased in bulk by convention groups, weddings planners, and wholesalers. When their un-used rooms are sold back to Disney, they may be offered at a discount if the Marketing Department feels there are now too many to sell at rack rates.

You might want ot try calling the resort directly

The Walt Disney Resorts themselves do not have the capacity to book their own rooms or even check for availablity for future dates. The front desk systems can only see current room occupancy up to 5 days in advance.

All 22 Disney owned and operated resorts are booked through the Disney Reservation Center exclusively. If you call the resort directly, and ask to book a room, your call will be transferred to DRC 100% of the time. You can save time by simply calling us direct at 1-407-W-DISNEY.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:

Thanks for the info. I will just hope for a cancel. I hate to "bug" the reservation people but that seems to be the only way to luck into a room at my fav resort!!

Vondrake, can you work for the Walt Disney Travel Company remotely, or do you have to live in Florida?
