I took my kids to see CBJ last time that we were there and all I can say is I am glad that the sounds track is so bad that they didn't understand the words.

Disney really needs to refurbish the attraction. When we were there in '07, the AA's were making more noise then the music.

my favorite part unfortunatly no longer exists. from 1984 to (we *THINK* '88. at the end of the Christmas show before the lights came back on Max Buff & Melvin said the following:

Melvin: "well I think we did just fine"
Max: "You would"
Buff: if you don't straighten up i'm going to pull the plug on *both* of you. now say goodbye"
Max & Melvin: "So Long everybody"
Buff: "Happy Holidays"

just do a youtube search for Country Bear Christmas Special Extended ending and you'll find it

The triplets are funny. Either way CBJ is one of my favourites regardless of the hate it gets on here. "Davy, Davy Crockett..........."

Yes Davy Crockett always reminds of of watching Fess Parker as a kid. I had to explain it to DS, when I was finished he asked if he could get a cap like Davy, and of course I got it for him.

I would have to go with the bear that sings "How Long is Forever". I think it is the way he moves his eyebrows in time with the music that cracks me up.

That's certainly interesting. The first time I've ever heard someone happy with poor quality sound.

I wonder if it's because of some objection to country music or because of the "inappropriateness" of the lyrics. I mean why subject the kids to blood on the saddle? She'll learn about Aunt Flo soon enough.

CBJ is one of my favorite shows in WDW. The entire show is great, but the highlights are:

"Mama, don't whoop Little Buford!"
Big Al: "There was blood on the saddle..."
Max, Buff, and Melvin

i love the country bear jamboree! although the last time we went, it didn't seem to exist. i definately made a point of going to see it this time round.
although they need to turn the sound up. it was so quiet, even the murmurs of the audience drowned out the bears talking.
my favourite part is also big al, with the triplets coming in a close second.
