My Favorite Disney Purchases ... through the years

I gathered all my favorite purchases (am surprised I haven't lost them, but some have been misplaced for awhile). The tan Mickey key case I believe I may have actually purchased on my DisneyMoon in 1987, the evening bag I purchased in the 90s, the sunglasses, definitely in the 90s, the pink Minnie Mug - 2007, the black case was a calendar, but it also fit perfectly as a checkbook cover (90s), so I now use it for my Disney Checks, and the coin purse ('07) I absolutely love to use because I can clip it onto my jeans belt loop, and then tuck it in my pocket. I've used this to be hands free even while spending the day in NYC ... tuck in my license, credit cards and a few $$$ and I'm all set for the day.

My favorite purchase didn't come from WDW itself. I actually had a Mickey Mouse house key made at my local hardware store. It's large and colorful and I get many comments and chuckles regarding it. Even on a dark porch, I know just which key to use by touch.

I did this too! I got housekeys made at a hardware store and I picked Lady and the Tramp and Bambi. Yes, I get made fun of a lot, but I know which keys go in which lock!

A soft Mickey Mouse t-shirt that is faded and a ceramic cup that looks like the old paper cups sold in the park. Both get used pretty frequently.

I have that ceramic cup as well, love it! My favorite purchase to date has been a seragraph of the HM. We bought it on sale for AoD and had it shipped home. When it arrived we realized that it was about 36" across!! It is hung behind our bed now because it is the only free space big enough for it. I have also bought several disney plates and mugs, but the HM art is still my fave and a great story to boot.

My favorites would be:
** a set of Mickey and Minne bookends I bought in the late 90s.
** three long sleeve dress shirts with a Micky embroidery instead of a Polo Pony. Bought over ten years ago and held up until recently.
** a set of Winnie the Pooh ceramic cereal bowls, the quality of which I'm afraid we'll never see again.

I LOVE pulling out the Christmas ornaments I get annually. Love to look at the dates and realize how quickly time flies.

Where to begin.....I love the Christmas ornament I have one tree I decorate with only Disney ornaments. Mickey, Minnie, and Jiminy Cricket Steiff stuffed animals, Several Disney wrist watches. I love buying anything Disney!!

I love the first Minnie Mouse plush I got when I was 5 years old, with her red and white dots dress and big white bow... Even though I get a new plush on every trip, she's still my favorite!

My wife and kids recently started a new tradition and buy me a new tea mug when we visit WDW. One says DVC member and the other is Jiminy Cricket. I use these mugs all the time. It always cheers up the morning.

I went around every park in 2013 and got dog tags, they're great for keychains and you can inscribe a little message on the back! They're relatively inexpensive souvenirs (10 bucks?) and are (obviously) very robust! Other than the dog tags I have a number of Disney mugs (I try and get a new on every trip) that I use every day!

also I finally found some Jungle Cruise merch in DL!! Disney has really been missing out with having no JC merch in WDW! nice beer glass with the old adventureland/JC logo on it and a nice big Adventureland mug!!

My husband bought me a Winnie the Pooh ceramic teapot and a set of the Fab 5 juice glasses back in '95 on our honeymoon. Those two are my absolute favorites. I also use my Magic Kingdom Gold Club bag for every single trip. As I pack that bag it reminds me of all the memories of previous trips. Sadly it has been put away until 2016.
There are of course many other things...but the teapot and juice glasses are my favorites.
