When getting my FP+ selections, I tried to do them online, but the computer said I needed valid ticket bar code.... I took the bar code right off the back of the ticket and it still wouldn't work 
But, I got to MK right when they opened the next day and went straight to BTMRR and there was 4 or 5 CM's over by the Frontierland train station where nobody was and I got first choice of all attractions for the entire day. I think the new FP+ system is just hit or miss based on when you are there , which FP+ kiosk location you are at and what time of day it is...
