So my experience at Universal was fantastic. I went on everything I wanted to go on except Ripsaw Falls. The only problems I encountered were on HPFJ where it stopped in the middle of the ride many times and the lights were on during the last half, and EFG where I was overly tired to the point where nothing seemed real, and I felt like I was going to throw up on the ride.

Universal is fab. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Pity about FJ as it's such a great ride.
We did a split stay last time-4 nights (3days) Uni then moved over to WDW for 10 nights (11 days). This time we're starting in WDW for 7 nights and then moving to Uni for 7 nights because we want to spend more time at Uni but also do Seaworld, Aquatica and I Drive 360.

too bad about BOTH HP rides- they are absolutely fantastic! EFG was phenomenal. Stinks you got stuck on FJ- it does kind of ruin the momentum when you stop mid-way through. The plus- gives you a reason to go back
