Long rambling post warning.

We arrived Last Friday on the 21st without incident. We were all very excited. My DW and Godson were already itching to do something. Not going to happen tonight. We checked in at the hotel at 9:30pm.
The room at the Port Orleans Resort was OK except for the 2 full-size beds. I thought these were suppose to be queen size beds. Sleeping the next few nights resulted in 2 very tired adults who are used to sleeping in a king. To roll over, I had to get out of bed.
My wife was very gung-ho about going to the early EMH, coming back to the room for a nap or swim, then going back to evening EMH park. She was until it was time to get up. There goes many of the ADRs.
The DDP is great, for 2007 anyway, if you know what you want to do 6 months in advance. We booked our trip late and was only able to get one Dinner ADR. I will never do DDP again. It was impossible to use all our TS credits because every restaurant is booked.
3 days in, my dw bruises her achilles tendon. She can't walk or stand for any length of time. So now I am pushing a wheel chair for the remainder of the week. My vacation has turned into a major calorie burning event.
She is now cranky because she is limited on vacation and there is no pleasing her. She and my Godson become oil and water making my vacation miserable. I just want to go home at this point. Did I mention she forgot one of her regular medications and runs out 5 days in. Just shoot me, now!
My 8yo godson won't eat anything we put in front of him. When he does get something he likes, he barely eats any. At the Crystal Palace breakfast buffet, all he ate was a bagel. BTW, that is not on the children's buffet so they were trying to get me to using an adult DDP credit for it. I think someone realized I was a powder keg ready to explode and dropped it.
Last full day plan was to get an early breakfast go to Blizzard Beach, come back and pack, go to dinner, then go to MK so I could ride the Haunted Mansion and see Liberty Square. I even had ADRs for both.
We had breakfast, went to Blizzard Beach and came back to pack. Except, my wife wants to sleep. OK, so I pack. When it was time to get going for dinner, she does not want to go, to tired. UGH! She gets up anyway when she sees how upset I was about to get.
Got to go, boarding the plane. I will continue later.
