About the Mad Tea Party, I have some questions:

1. Will there be a canopy roof over the ride?
2. If the answer to the first question is "yes", then will the roof be a simple medieval tent or a more graceful glass roof, like France?
3. Will there be a teapot in the middle with the Dormouse popping out of it repeatedly?
4. What will your cups look like:
a) The DL cups (card shapes, flowers and simple color combos)
b) The WDW cups (most primitive looking cups, with simple starbursts, flower shapes and spirals)
c) The old TDL cups (which had fancy flower patterns; click here to see a picture of the old cups)
d) The new TDL, DLP and HKDL cups (swirly colors and various shapes)

I hope you can answer those questions soon.

For snow whites ride, I think that maybe you should include the scene where the dwarfs are playing music and dancing with snow white. it seems currently there ar eno scenes with snow white and the dwarfs. plus it's like one of the moost classic disney scenes ever. thnx

1. Yes, it will have.
2. The roof will be a mixture of the original medieval roof and Paris' glass roof.
3. Yep. I may also have Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare surrounding it.
4. The cups will be the TDL, DLP and HKDL shapes, although they will represent different characters from Alice in Wonderland.

3rd version of Fantasmic!

Here is my third version of Fantasmic! I got some of the ideas from these videos of Fantasmic, here are the links:

Video One
Video Two
Video Three

Also, I want to chose between all three versions of Fantasmic I have done, because I'll making one into a finished ride script. Here are the links for that:

1st version
2nd version

Now that all that's out of the way, here's the ride outline:

Opening:
The standard opening with Mickey orchestrating the Fantasmic theme tune is here.
The Flowers:
The bit with the flowers from California is here. There are more exotic flowers here.
Jungle Scene:
Here, we get a mixture of the Jungle Book scene from California, the Lion King scene from Florida and a bit of Tarzan.
Pink Elephants segment:
The Pink Elephants scene from Californa is here, the only difference being there are dancing projections all around the island stage.
Pinocchio puppets:
The bit with the puppets from California is here. There are more puppets here than in California.
Monstro:
We get the Monstro scene from both versions of Fantasmic. This then leads to the next segment.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea re-enactment:
Here, we get a re-enactment of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Captain Nemo and the crew of the Nautilus battles the Giant Squid, and is eventually caught in it's grasp. Luckily, Ned Land manages to save Nemo and defeat the Giant Squid.
Princesses segment:
Here is get something similar to Florida's, with Aurora and Phillip, Cinderella and Prince Charming and Alladin and Jasmine appearing on the mist screens, and Belle and Beast, Ariel and Eric and Snow White and her prince being on the boats.
The Queen/Evil Witch:
We get the scene with the Queen here with the typical dialouge before she calls on the villains.
Ursula - Poor Unfortunate Souls:
The scene with Ursula singing Poor Unfortunate Souls from California turns up here.
Oogie Boogie - The Oogie Boogie Song:
In this scene, we have Oogie Boogie appearing on the mist screens as a 2-D shadowed version of him. He appears on the island stage and sings the Oogie Boogie song.
Hades and Chernabog:
The bit with Hades from Florida's version is here, and then leads to the usual Chernabog scene, with him summoning spirits from the dead.
Mickey V Maleficnet:
The usual Mickey versus Maleficent scene is here, with Maleficent turning into the dragon. The villains have their evil laughing time, before Mickey then appears as the brave little tailor, and then uses a combination of the endings from California and Florida, with Mickey dousing the water and then telling Maleficent "You may think you're so powerful, but this is my dream!".
The Villians destroyed:
The villains are destroyed in this order: Chernabog, Hades, Oogie Boogie, Ursula, the Evil Queen and finally Maleficent.
Finale:
Tinkerbell restores the island stage, and the heroes travel on a replica of Steamboat Willie, like in Florida. Then we get Mickey orchestrating the fireworks in his Sorcerer's apprentice clothes and then says "Some Imagination, huh?", before everything stops.

Comments welcome.

Okay, two things:

1. I'm going to post an attraction script for the Coach and Horses Adventure in my version of Frontierland soon.
2. I'm also adding a ride called the Aladdin: The Myth, and it's a simulator/dark ride based on Aladdin. See for more details on that soon.

We then arrive in the dwarf's cottage with the animals and Snow White climbing the stairs. We then go into the mine scene, where the dwarfs are working until we leave, as they sing "Hi-Ho".

Just after the scene with the Silly Song...

So is the Silly Song in the cottage or not? Also I think the scene of Snow White dancing with the Dwarfs would be an excellent variation on that scene. The reason why I want to put your version into California and Japan of all places is because of the lack of a good closing scene. Japan has no closing scene at all; it just ends with the witch and the boulder. California does have a closing scene, albeit a rather inadequate one: Snow White and the Prince in the storybook reading "...and they lived happily ever after." What do you think of these ideas? Besides, it's high time TDL's Snow White got an update.

I can't wait to see your Splash Mountain verbal tour! But first, can you answer me two questions:

1) Will the log boats be single-file (a la Disneyland) or double-sided (a la Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland)?

2) What will the music be like?
A) The playful orchestra style (a la Disneyland)
B) The country-western style (a la Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland)

Thanks in advance!

1. The logs will be double-sided.
2. The music will start out as being country-western style, before we arrive near the first drop it will become a playful orchestra style.

How about also having this strategy after the big drop and before reentering the mountain? Maybe I think I will use this strategy for the Splash Mountains of California and Tokyo; what do you think?

When's your Splash Mountain verbal tour gonna be put up? I'm getting kinda anxious here.

Here's my verbal tour of Splash Mountain:

When guests enter the queue area, it appears to be a farming field. Going depper towards the load areas, there are various references to Uncle Remus and Brer Rabbit. When guests arrive at the load area, they go into the side-by-side logs that are in Florida and Tokyo.

The logs leave the load area, and the standard Goofy-style safety spiel is heard here. When the logs reach the top of the mountain, the music starts off as country-western. Continuing on, we pass various farm equipment, and then we arrive a little hut. There, we here Uncle Remus say "Welcome to a joyful adventure down into the Briar Patch." which leads the music to become more orchestral and playful. After we pass Brer Fox's house, where we hear him yell "Now, that Brer Rabbit won't get away this time! My plan is sure to work!". It is after this we go down the first drop.

When we arrive in the Mountain, we see the same "How Do You Do?" scene from California. After going past the giant storks, we see Mr. Bluebird singing a bit of "How Do You Do?", along with Brer Frog fishing on the alligator, before moving to Brer Rabbit and Brer Turtle singing about how Brer Rabbit wants to leave the Briar Patch, while Brer Fox and Brer Bear watching them from the opposite side, and then to Brer Fox and Brer Bear, who has got in a sticky situation. After various stuff with the other Briar Patch creatures, we see the hitch-hiking alligator singing his own verse of "How Do You Do?". Just before we go down the drop into the Briar Patch, we see the projection from Florida with Brer Fox chasing after Brer Rabbit, before Brer Bear says "There's nothing in here but bees!". On "bees!" we drop into the Laughing Place scene.

We see the same Laughing Place stuff from California, with the animals coming out of the geysers from Florida added in. Near the end, we are also treated to a jumping water similar to the one in Journey Into Imagination at Epcot. Then we have Brer Rabbit trapped in honey, with Brer Fox looking over him. After we have the Burrow's Lament scene from California, the logs turn around a corner where Brer Bear says "You'd better be saying good-bye to Brer Rabbit.", before we are treated to the long rise to the top. We have the Vultures there, lecturing Brer Rabbit, before we have him as an animatronic faced by a projection of Brer Fox, who says "Looks like I'm going to have to... DESTROY YA!". As we leave the mountain, a view, reminscent of Florida's is there. What happens next is... SSSPPPLLLOOOSSSHHH!!!

After we get back to the bottom, we go indoors to see Sis Rabbit and the bunnies singing "Sooner or Later". We then to get to the usual finale. After seeing Brer Rabbit singing "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah", and then having Brer Fox and Brer Bear being attacked by the alligator, we hear Uncle Remus say "That Brer Rabbit sure learned his lesson! And Brer Fox did too! And it's like I've always said: you can't run away from trouble. There ain't no place that far.", before we arrive back in the Load area.

Comments welcome.

Great! Looks like the CA version with the double-sided logs. Can you tell me where Brer Frog reclining on the alligator as they both fish will be located? Also are Brer Fox and Brer Bear gonna be looking at Brer Rabbit while he stands outside the Briar Patch as he leaves for parts unknown? Finally, add an AA of Brer Bear after the Burrow's Lament scene and before the vultures. His nose is red (because he got stung by the bees) and he says something like, "You better be sayin' good-bye to Brer Rabbit," and "That rabbit said this was a Laughing Place and I ain't laughin'." As for Uncle Remus, at the end when he is heard saying the stuff on Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox learning their lessons, he should also say, "And it's like I've always said: you can't run away from trouble. There ain't no place that far."

Thanks once again, mharrington. I changed my version so these ideas could fit in.

Fantasmic! show script - Part 1

Here is part one of my Fantasmic! show script! This is mostly California's version, but during the writing of the show script, I changed the Pinochhio puppets to Alice in Wonderland puppets instead. So on with the show script!

Narrator: Welcome to Fantasmic!, where you’ll se our friend and host Mickey Mouse, use his imagination to create magical moments that all can enjoy. Nothing is more wonderful and fanciful than the Imagination, for, in a moment, you will see beautiful plants, exotic rainforests, very strange moments, or an exciting adventure. But nothing is more powerful than the imagination. For it can expand your greatest fears into a terrifying nightmare? Is Mickey’s imagination powerful enough to destroy some of the forces of evil that are about to invade Mickey’s dream? You are about to find out.

(As the narrator says this, a musical note begins to start, as the stage gets ready for the show. After the opening piece of narration is finished, the note becomes the Fantasmic theme tune, and a long blue beam shoots up into the sky.)

“Imagination” Singer: Imagination

(Several lights appear out of the ground on the island stage, and the music continues.)

“Imagination” Singer: dream of fantastic dreams

(The island stage lights up to reveal Mickey Mouse, in his shiny tuxedo.)

“Imagination” Singer: ...use your imagination!

(Just then, Mickey moves to another area on the stage. Then, on a timed cue with Mickey waving his hand, jets of water come up into the sky in cue with the music, as the “Imagination” song continues playing on. Mickey continues doing this for a while until he moves to another area of the stage, where he stands in a certain position and shoots sparks from both of gloves.)

(After they have burned out, the island stage darkens, and the mist screens come on, showing a shooting star creating several little stars, before Mickey flies up into the area, and positions himself on a rock, as the Sorcerers Apprentice plays. Just then, he makes the stars brighter, and starts making them fly towards himself. In cue with the mist screens, several fireworks shoot off as Mickey conducts the song.)

(Mickey then begins to bring the ocean’s waves closer to him. Finally, he then sends two stars into each other, causing the fireworks to scatter around the area.)

(The sprinkling dust on the mist screens becomes flowers and other plants.)

“Imagination” Singer: Sleep with your mind and you will find, your imagination. Mysteries and magic, visions fantastic, leads to strange and wondrous dreams!

(As the singer sings this, the flowers go through several random patterns and colours. On the island lake, a big flower opens up. The flower, like the ones on the mist screens, changes colour after a few moments.)

(As the music plays on, the flowers continue changing it’s colour and shapes. At a blue orchid, the flower on the island lake closes up, and the flowers on the mist screens disappear as exotic music begins to play.)

(The mist screens disappear temporarily, and on the island stage, a green elephant marches in one place, joined by green rhinoceroses, pink ostriches and cheetahs, along with Simba, Pumbaa and Timon on a rock behind the animals, before they all disappear when the stage darkens. When the stage lightens up again, Tarzan stands atop the rock, and waves his spear about as a puppet of Sabor prowls around the stage.)

(The stage once again darkens, this time two beams of light appears from the darkness, gradually revealing a giant version of Kaa, searching the audience with his long beams of light from his eyes. Kaa disappears from the island stage, and around the lake are several rafts with neon-coloured monkeys and gorillas on them, with King Louis and Kerchak on the final and grandest raft. As the boat disappears into the darkness, the mist screens come on and the music suddenly changes.)

(On the mist screens, an orange background has black elephants in front of it. Just then, it reverses so the background is black and the elephants are orange before they go to pink. The music kicks into high gear, as a massive elephant made of elephant faces appears on the mist screens.)

(Just then, the mist screens show several pink elephants with instruments appearing out of a broken trumpet. It then changes to show the elephants blowing their trumpets in cue with the music, as blacklight pink elephants appear on stage.)

Singer: Look out! Look out!

(It then shows two elephants dancing together, before showing an elephant in a belly dancer’s outfit. After dancing, the elephant’s stomach suddenly jerks in several directions before fading to a circle and then finally to an eye.)

Singer: Pachyderm!

(On the mist screens, it shows one grey elephant in normal view and then another grey elephant upside down looking around until they see each other and run away. Then it shows the elephants turning into cars, and then four orange elephants with trumpets, and finally to one pink elephant creating another.)

Singer: They’re here! They’re there! Oh no! Look out! They’re everywhere!

(As the singer sings the above line, the mist screens changes to show one patterned elephant on strings marching, and it follows until the entire mist screen shows all of the patterned elephants marching together. On ‘They’re everywhere!’ the elephants on the stage disappear and the mist screens shows the elephants on strings falling into space, until the music stops and only the strings are left behind.)

(The strings reappear on three cards that appear on stage. They march around the stage to the tune of “Painting the Roses Red”. They stop at two trees, and with the help of lights, the roses become red. The cards and trees suddenly disappear, and giant flowers raise out of the ground near a human Alice. The flowers and Alice move around to the tune of “All in the Golden Afternoon”.)

(The flowers disappear, and in a fast-paced version of “Painting the Roses Red”, Alice runs around the stage, with puppet versions of the White Rabbit, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and finally the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter. At this point the music changes to “A Very Merry Unbirthday”.)

(Finally, an enlarged puppet of the Cheshire Cat appears as the human Alice disappears off the stage.)

Cheshire Cat: Try the bottle for a way out, but be warned!

(The mist screens come on to show Alice inside a sinking bottle, with her looking around. All of a sudden, several bubbles cover the screen.)

Jiminy Cricket: Pinocchio!

(The bubbles clear to show Jiminy Cricket on the bottom of the ocean.)

Jiminy Cricket: We’re down here!

(The mist screens change to show a orange fish swimming around, creating various effects with her fins. After she does a few patterns, the mist screens change once again to show Jiminy Cricket trapped inside a bubble, with his hat flying by in another bubble.)

Jiminy Cricket: That’s better!

(He manages to get his hat, but then the bubble begins to fill up with water, luckily for Jiminy he manages to get out as the bubble pops. The mist screens change once again to show a school of fish swimming by until an eye opens and scares them away, cueing the entrance of Monstro, who proceeds to chase after the fish and crash onto the water, creating a minor splash. The mist screens darken and come back on to show Monstro heading straight towards the mist screens. The whale’s mouth opens and then splashs the water again.)

(The mist screens darken, and then come back on once again to show Mickey swimming through the water. He comes back to the surface by flowing through a blue whirlpool.)

Mickey Mouse: Help!

(He then gulps as he grabs onto a book, and then goes down another whirlpool. After he disappears down it, the mist screens darken, but Mickey’s pair of eyes are visible as he looks around.)

Mickey Mouse: Hey, what’s going on? (As he looks straight towards the mist screens.) Uh oh!

(Mickey’s eyes disappear, and the music sounds grand as various white and red images flash around the screen, when the music stops, the stage is left in darkness.)

(A loud splash is heard, and on cue, the lake lights up to reveal a life-sized replica of the Nautilus, with Captain Nemo on deck, with the a replica of the giant squid grasping it’s tentacles around the Nautilus. The crewmembers run around with fake guns and harpoons.)

Captain Nemo: It’s a giant squid, men! Aim for the area between it’s eyes!

(A tentacle replica appears, knocking two of the seamen off the Nautilus, onto a safe boat travelling alongside the Nautilus.)

Captain Nemo: Quickly men! Just do it!

(The seamen fire their guns, only for the squid to be unaffected. Another tentacle appears, and grabs the sea-men in it’s grasp.)

Crewmember: Help us, sir! We need some help!

(Captain Nemo grabs a gun and fires it at the Nautilus’ tentacle, causing the tentacle to slowly fall down, allowing Captain Nemo to rescue them.)

Captain Nemo: Quickly men! Attack it!

(The tentacles then surround the crew of the Nautilus, knocking all but three of the crewmembers off the Nautilus and into the boat.)

Captain Nemo: We need more support! The giant squid can defeat all of us on our own!

(Just then, the tentacle grabs Captain Nemo, raising him up into the squid’s mouth area. The mouth pops out and opens.)

Captain Nemo: If I have met my end, then hope that I will live on in the memory of my crew!

(On deck, Ned Land appears and runs to two members of the crew, who have guns with them.)

Crewmember: Mr. Land! The giant squid is attacking Captain Nemo and the Nautilus!

Ned Land: Don’t worry! I’ll get Nemo!

(Ned Land runs and grabs a harpoon, throwing it into the area between the eyes of the giant squid puppet.)

Captain Nemo: What?

(The squid slowly loses it’s grip on Nemo, causing it to gradually settle down onto the deck of the Nautilus. The squid’s roars become fainter every second.)

Captain Nemo: Thank you, Mr. Land. You have saved my life.

Ned Land: Hey, no big deal. Besides, me, you and the crew of the Nautilus all defeated the giant squid together.

(The stage suddenly darkens, allowing the Nautilus to leave the island lake.)
