Ok, I am about 25 days away(8/19/09-8/24/09). I figured it is time to do a pre-trip report.

So, I am 22 and I planned my first Disney trip as an adult.

I guess first, you should know the players!

Wagner (bestfriend)
Brian (boyfriend)
Justin (myself)

I am so excited. We paid for our trip at the start of the month and I made awesome ADR's. Here is my trip breakdown!

We are staying at All Star Music! I have stayed at the other two. I am glad I am finally able to knock down the other one. :) Anyway...

Itenerary!

Wednesday, 19th - Animal Kingdom
  • Yak and Yeti ADR
Thursday, 20th- Hollywoold Studios
  • Sci-fi Dinner Theater
Friday, 21st- Magic Kingdom
  • Crystal Palace
Saturday, 22nd-Epcot
  • Princess Storybook Dinner
Sunday, 23rd- Magic Kingdom
  • Cinderella's Royal Table
Monday, 24th- Hollywood Studios
  • 50's Prime-Time Cafe
How does my trip look? At first, my trip was spread out better, but after I had already made ADR's, I noticed that Fantasmic! was only showing one day while I was there. I had to re-plan my entire trip and had to cancel alot of reservations. Thankfully, I still got what I wanted! :)Anyway, is there anything that I haven't thought of? I got my ME tag package and the booklet of coupons, plus I have my maps. Is there anything else? Anything else they send us? And advice or idea are more than welcome!

P.s. Is there anything anyone wants me to report on? Yeti? Space Mountain? You guys just let me know. :sohappy:

If you have your ADRs, that's going to be the most important part of planning since you are going during the Free Dining offer period.

It sounds like you have everything they send out before your trip. Unless they've added something since last year.

Hope you enjoy your trip!

I've personally never needed reservation numbers but have heard from others that it's better to be safe than sorry. I would bring them, just in case.

It's always better to have any confirmation or reservation numbers... whether it be for your ADRs, or your flights, rental car, hotel stay, etc. That way if there is an issue, you have the information handy and can hopefully have it fixed quickly.

But our last two trips, we were able just to use our last name to check in for our ADRs, so if you don't have them with you, you probably wont have any trouble.

I would definately take your ressie numbers just in case, I have never had a problem but, better to be safe than sorry.
Your ADR's look great. The only 2 I have never eaten in are Yak & Yeti and Cinderella's(CRT) as for the others I have eaten in all and they were great. Friends of mine have eaten in CRT and it is a must do for them for every trip. Have a great time and remember to take lots of pics. Can't wait to hear a trip report when you return! :D

I've only ever done the Princess breakfast in EPCOT; do some food pictures if you can...I'm curious about how the dinner is.

I know there probably won't any news on Space Mountain, but if you find out anything new let us know.

Have fun.

You're gonna love 50's Prime-Time :D (it's my favorite!!)

Most definitely just take them to be on the safe side. We had a reservation at Liberty Tree in the MK with a res # and everything, but when we got there, they had no record of it. as it happened, my sister had made the arrangements and DID NOT have the # on her, and they were booked up. But the cast member at Liberty Tree called Crystal Palace and got us in there! They told us if we could get over there in the next few minutes, we would have no wait...and luckily, we were just a hop away from CP....walked up and gave our name, they were waiting on us! Even though we were let down at not getting LTT, we were just as pleased with the cast members there and at CP......we know now to take all confirmation and res. #s with us regardless!!!!!!

Hey, you're ADr's look great, actually I'll be there the same time and we both have ADR's for Sci Fi and for 50's Prime Time on the same day! So no misbehaving in the restaurants or I'll end up posting on here how I saw some crazy guy on my trip. :animwink:

Gotta have the milkshakes at Sci-fi. and definately take your confirmation numbers, I had cancelled and re-booked a reservation for a restaurant because I had to switch days and they kept showing my cancelled one only, thankfully with the conf# they were able to find my real resevation.

i'm 23 and just planned my first disney trip as an adult too!! :D its great except for the part where you have to pay for the room, tickets, flight, and food! i hope you have a great time! your reservations look very good and yummy. like others have said, make sure to bring all of your reservation numbers. i would also try calling a couple days before your trip to confirm everything to make sure they still have the reservations. that way if there is a problem they can fix it before you even get there. btw, where are you staying?

I recommend bringing your ressie #'s with you for your ADR's.
I just went to The World in June....I did have a mishap with my LeCellier Ressie...Totally MY MISTAKE:cry: (I wrote down the wrong time that was given to me) BUT since I had my ressie # they were willing & able to get us in (after a 30min wait):sohappy:

I'm at All Star Music Too! If you see two grown women with dark hair and a small blonde girl singing "Mamma Mia" in the parks that will be us. We've decided to shoot a music video on our vacation.

We'll be taking volunteers to sing "Mamma Mia" with us so feel free to jump in
